Boozers all good. We heard rumours of which players were impacted and had already dumped half our backline before last nights game.
Yep, the games times are incorrect unf, I had to nominate a Sunday game, hopefully Mike left it at one? Will revert at start of Crows game to locked manually, give or take a few minutes
I had set it to a Sunday game, I've now set it back to it again. per above will switch back to the correct game manually. FWIW the Sat games all started Thursday in the local database
Also, I can never actually tell if a lockout is or isn't working, only that it should be, so if it isn't working as intended now please yell
Hey all, As one of the complainers I really appreciate the quick response as always team (and I'm definitely one of the LEAST affected, probably). Just my opinion on the matter is we are only 2 rounds in and this year feels like its going to be way more compromised than the last 2 years, so I don't see why we would hamstring ourselves having a hard early lockout, although if that's the vote I'm happy to accept it (and we aren't the only league doing it, either)
imo life would be a lot simpler across all the leagues if we went to gametime lockouts (ie SC style) for all weeks. That requires @waelsy to set the dates and times correctly which isn't done as yet.
And FWIW I'm not affected in any league, I just think it's simpler and struggle with the "criminal" status of loopholing anyway
Round 2 - Useless Loop Virgins Def: Steven May, Liam Baker, Brennan Cox, James Sicily (Sam Frost) Mid: Lachie Neale, David Mundy, Isaac Smith, James Worpel (Dylan Stephens) Ruck: Rhys Stanley Fwd: Zak Butters, Errol Gulden, Daniel McStay, Aaron Naughton (Hayden McLean) Int: Isaac Quaynor, Josh Battle (James Jordon)
Not to be a nag, but it doesn't look like its committed my change either it didn't save or it's been reverted back (swapped Duggan in for Sinn). Probably my fault for not posting my team in this thread and its definitely not going to change the result of my match since I'm getting spanked, but would be nice to have the proper team submission. Hopefully nobody else experienced anything similar.
I suspect its worth posting a team and then changes to it until Les resurfaces, the good ship tooserious is listing atm I can make changes that I can evidence
Have gone to update my team this morning, all locked out again @Dale Duivesteyn Changes required J Battle out C Chesser in to loop J Jordan's score.
The Commish was pretty clear last weekend that the lockout was Friday night, extended to 145pm on Saturday due to the delay in NM and WCE teams. So looping Saturday players was never going to happen.
@Len - hopefully you can contact the chief and see if it is possible to they the times set for all 9 weeks at some point as for “simplicity” of a rolling lockout, I fail to see how it is simpler than a Friday night lockout? clearly a rolling lockout increases both flexibility and loopholing I have no issues with loopholing and suspect that this league is a rare one where opinions are not as strong as in others, however ok’ing loopholing doesn’t mean we by default need to take it to the nth degree by locking out at match 9
I'll keep trying.. Re the loophole, the simplicity is very clear to me, late outs due to covid can be easily shuffled, this will not be the only round affected by a covid breakout and whilst the extra spots help in team setup, they certainly do nothing for late notice of outbreaks. I'm not fussed either way, but it seems a cheap way to get the target of Dale's back, if like me, you don't have a phobia for lockouts
The Whales @Darran comfortably defeated the Atoms @Brett Sanders in the battle of the ORFFF's newest centurions Elsewhere the Noahs @That KI Guy, Glow-Worms @James84, Virgins @YAD69 and Bucks @Dale Duivesteyn kept their perfect records intact and the Shags @anthak, Fugs @tyze1 and Dropbears @stowie notched their first wins of season 2022. Most teams managed to partially dodge the West Coast AFL HSP carnage however the Woylies @port_leschenault copped a donut in a hard fought loss to the Bucks and the Power's @MrsBear player shortage continued with a brave effort by 11 players in their round 2 loss.
Yeah, I didn't know who to pick on Friday WCE wise, and didn't see there was an extension until yesterday. Ah well.
