The 29ers put up for auction a package of Jack Viney plus the 29ers 2023 PSD 5th and 2023 PSD 6th rounders In return we seek draft pick centred packages (max 2 draft picks worth circa 1350 draft index points, ie indicatively pick 16 plus 48 or 2 picks in the late 20's) plus a nominal (nil valued) player to maintain the 32 player list. We would also consider offers of a high value young forward (1st year averaging 50, 2nd year averaging 60 or 3rd.4th year averaging 70) plus 1 or 2 lower picks. 2022 MSD picks likely to be in the top 5 would also be considered as part of the offered package. For clarity either the 29ers 2023 PSD 5th or 29ers PSD 6th can be included in the offer back form the succesful bidder but would be counted in the maximum of 2 picks back. Auction closes 10pm Wednesday 27th April
Thanks for bidding @anthak Unless I am mistaken Rioli has not averaged 70 in a season in his career and is unlikely to significantly improve at this point (soon to be 27). The draft picks offered are not in themselves valuable enough, so the bid falls well short of reserve.
