@Len can you pls create the offical draft thread so you can embed your spreadsheet when it’s ready

    Draft rules will be:

    - 6 hour windows to make selections
    - Clock pauses between midnight and 6am EDST

And here are my thoughts on if a coach exceeds the 6 hours… FWIW. I propose we do a hybrid of the old system where the default pick was based on last years highest scoring free agent and the selection skipping method we used in the MSD.

How would this work? Initially a coach will get the highest averaging free agent from last year BUT when they do eventually log in they will be able to swap those players with any players still available.

To me this results in a more equitable outcome given the shorter pick deadline but I’m sure y’all might have your own opinions so let’s have at it!

No worries mate, the sheets are updated and will be ready as delists are completed, we will probably have to have someone manage pl's team for now.. I'll get a draft thread up tonight, but the actual sheet is already up in the team lists thread

Thanks @Len, I will be offline for the rest of the day (beach patrol followed by wedding anniversary dinner), this will be the first time ever that I haven’t been worried about making picks on my anniversary!

Hi guys. Sorry this year has been super busy. Happy to keep kicking tires for now but no idea if I will be able to continue on tbh, we'll see.

I'll try and look over my team and announce delistments now.

    Hi all,
I've just checked in on the draft and there are 6 picks tomorrow b4 I'm up. I'm going to be back in range Tuesday arvo around 7.30 to 8pm est and am hoping its my turn by then. I'm hoping you can all show me that grace considering I'm working remote atm. I would organise a proxy but Ive got 3 or 4 targets depending on who goes b4 me.

I don't pick until the early 20's @PhilArthur so I am happy to hold you selections and announce who you want to draft if you want to send them through to me.

@stripey , don't want to be mean to Lucas but isnt the 6 hour limit passed? 'Let's move on while Gumby and PhilArthur are here and we can put a few more picks to bed.

@stripey @Len is it possible to hold the draft. Historically we have gone on final ladder AFTER FINALS positions for draft order hence last 2022 Graeme went last because he was premier even though he didn't finish first in home and away. As such i had thought i have pick 15 and gumby has pick 18 finishing premier. If we have to stay with this sytem i understand but just wanted to point this out as particularly in first round it makes a couple of places can make a big difference. Let me know thoughts or anyone else
