Progress score from The Stadium sees Hughenden 8/615/76.9 leading Banchang 7/561/81. Update from The Stadium.... Banchang 12/930/77.5 lead Hughenden 12/901/75..... In an uninspiring period of play where no player reached the ton, Collins and Hewett both with 93, were best for the Barcrawlers while for the P/Dogs, Morrison 90 and Logue 88 led the way. @Batfink

Banchang go into the final period with Elliott +104 up against Quaynor and Langford for Hughenden. @Batfink
in a seesawing affair, it is now The Buff who are probably the happier of the two outfits as we get to the closing stages of this one. Serengeti 1113/12/93 v Staghorn Flat 1138/13/88 Serengeti are counting on big finishes from Ridley, Parish and season debutant Draper. While the Bulls are hoping Shiel can take over the contest and Maynard does OK. @tyze1

Late match report from Round 5 Cow Bay Crocs 1,252 def Hughenden Prairie Dogs 1,129 In what was a close contest all day, until the closing stages when Cow Bay showed why they will be a compettivie side in 2023. With De Goey unable to take the field after suffering an Easter Egg overdose and Croc management failing to bring along a spare player they played with only 14 players. Hughenden obviously couldn’t cope having the spare player, running in circles all game giving the Crocs midfield of 3, Taranto (115), Hopper(115) and Worpel (100) too much space to dominate. Only Hughenden’s Oliver (115) was able to create something from the rejuvenated ruck efforts of Ratugolea (88) over Williams (41). The Crocs had plenty of drive out of the backline with Wilkie (156) and McGrath (104) owning the Prairie Dogs forwards with only Langford (106) providing some mild resistance. While Hughenden’s bench of Ash (81) and DBJ (82) provided some spark, Cow Bay responded with Sheezel (100) and Wilmot (68) Overall a tremendous team effort from the Cow Bay Crocs saw a 14 man team defeat a team who should be doing better. Hughenden has some tough decisions this week at the selection table to see if they get their season back on track. Whereas the Crocs can be well pleased with their efforts and looking forward to a finals series in 2023. 3 Wilkie, Cow Bay (156) 2 Taranto, Cow Bay (115) Oliver, Hughenden (115) Hopper, Cow Bay (115) The Big Tap saw Hughenden’s Ratugolea (88) over Williams (41) @fresh
Final score from Huskies v Crocs: Crocs with a comfortable win 1250 to 1094. Full match report to follow in the coming days.
In an entertaining and high scoring contest the Buffaloes have run out 89 point winners, 1396 to 1307. Full match report to follow @tyze1
Final result from the Horsham V Cow Bay match with the Crocs running out 156 point winners (1250 vs 1094), as the Huskies injury list continues to grow, now claiming Matty Roberts and Mitch Georgiades. The Crocs added to their on-field interchange stocks during the off-season, with Sheezel and Wilmot, and despite neither having their best game for the season, they helped Cow Bay to a more than competitive score. The Crocs were well lead by Taranto (144), Williams (133), De Goey (116), Worpel (98) and Hopper (94). In addition to solid contributions from Rankine (85), Bolton (82) and Clark (81), which had Cow Bay in the box seat to take this one out. The Huskies saw great performances from Drew (134), Caldwell (101), Holmes (98), Gresham (94) and Witts (91). It was shaping as a competitive contest, but injury to Roberts (19) and extended off ground periods for Phillips (36) ended any chance Horsham had. Horsham are now 1-5 and sitting 16th, whilst Cow Bay are 4-2 and sitting 7th. BAFFU 3 votes - T Taranto (COW) 2 votes - W Drew (HH) 1 vote - B Williams (COW) Big Tap B Williams (COW) defeated J Witts (HH), 133 to 91 Next round Horsham makes the trip to Blanchetown and Cow Bay host Pakenham.

The visiting Vikings have brought Oden with them and are destroying the home team in what can only be described as an embarrassing effort from the Prairie Dogs:- HPD 919/13/70 NV 1114/11/101 @bryzza
