Morning folks, As the MSD looms large on the horizon (and the byes), it means it is time for the Rolls Royce's of the competition to flaunt their wares in the annual State Of Origin campaign. With four rounds of byes this year, the state of origin will shift slightly to a best score from 4 rounds method. I will shortly post the best teams for the Vic/Tas and Others teams for you to dissect and comment on.
Current best ofs by position for Vic/Tas, not taking into account injuries etc And the best 15 based purely on averages and having 1 player per eligible ORFFA franchise
Nuffers players legitimately earning spots rather than being included through necessity is a turn up for the books
Need to tweak the teams a bit eg: Taranto twice in The Others team at the moment for example... but I'll sort that out over the next couplw of days in time for next weeks selection
By all accounts there will be further SC dpp changes dropping as soon as after Rd11 so if this is being played Rds12-15 that may also result in 1 or 2 tweaks per optimal side.
If it were not for Josh Dunkley, the cows would only have a representative by necessity. Not a pleasant change, unlike the position @chris88 finds himself in.
We are letting them play on the proviso there are no injuries purposely dealt out by some of youse "unethical" teams out there

Just noticed the Vic/Tas team should have (at this stage) Rowan Marshall in for one of the bench players (only 1 point difference, but hey)
Re Clarry, reckon Banditto is trying to pull a fast one on us - typical Vic. Melbourne's bye is round 14, so he would need to be back for round 13 to play 2 games in the series. Not sure I would pick him if only ready for the one game in round 15. Let's see the injury update before making a decision.
Most seasons I’ve got a fair bit to say about the makeup of the team in the private chat, but I’ve had a good look through all the spots and I can’t suggest any changes. I agree to include Marshall instead of Walsh. Only guy I’d consider finding a spot for would be Callum Wilkie, but I can’t see who he should replace. I think better to leave him out. Definitely need to keep Darcy Cameron and Zac Butters.
