@JPK 99% of the way there in a deal with @wrightbrendan that due to the time difference may miss 4pm AEST. It’s really just a matter of ticking off the final minor details then posting. I’d anticipate that we should have everything done prior to the draft kick off time. Hopefully this is ok?
Sorry , thought it was clear: Ararat get Laird, MSD24 & 2nd rnd PSD (BBU) SCS get Stephens & Rowbottom Cheers
@JPK Southern Cross have reached an agreement that sees Lachie Neale, Sam Docherty & 2nd rnd PSD (KIM), move to @wrightbrendan ‘s Serengeti Buffaloes, in exchange for Taryn Thomas, 1st rnd PSD (SB), 1st rnd PSD (NV) & 2nd rnd PSD (SB). Cheers for the time difference allowance that has helped to get a complicated deal across the line.
Confirmed. Appreciate the time allowance for the non eastern seaboard users and cheers to @eagle_eyed for working through the deal on a tight time frame. The trade was undertaken after an investigation into the Buffaloes administration to work out why the team was dealing with constant injury concerns. Initial thoughts around the fitness & conditioning staff were quickly dispelled and the investigation needed to dig deeper. Unfortunately for Tarryn, it was discovered that during his time away from the club he had been infected by the AC bug. Serengeti have gone to great lengths to avoid this infectious disease to the point where Cam Mackenzie, the first player drafted out of the disease's ground zero, was only brought in after costly and extensive background checks were complete. Kallan Dawson was shown to be exhibiting early symptoms and was subsequently traded out before the season began while it was hoped that Tarryn could escape the burden with time away from the club. Although he had succesfully returned in recent weeks and was showing promising signs individually, it was discovered his presence around the club was having an adverse affect on everyone and everything else within the club. The AC disease that had attached itself to him was unfortunately too strong and he needed to depart. Serengeti wish Tarryn all the best in a new environment and welcome Lachie & Sam with open arms and the assurance that the club is now certified AC disease free.
