A few retirements at Gariwerd to start us off. Aaron Hall Andrew Phillips Shannon Hurn All three have been outstanding servants to the Gariwerd Cockatoos Football Club. Phillips and Hall both came to the club during 2020, whereas Hurn has been a Gariwerd stalwart ever since the formation of the ORFFA! Shannon Hurn retires as an ORFFA Premiership Captain! And his departure from the club means there are no more players on the Gariwerd list who were acquired through the inaugural ORFFA draft in 2012! Aaron Hall retires with the heartbreak from 2022 still strong, as he was inexplicably dropped for the grand final after averaging 101 fpts through the first two weeks of the finals series. Andrew Phillips has been a handy backup ruck for Gariwerd over the past four seasons after we drafted him in the second round of the 2020 PSD.
The Nuffers' plans to quickly and simply delist Paddy Dow have been hampered by the fact he looks like going to a new club and actually getting some games. So, beyond going back to the drawing board, I'm going to delist Jacob Wehr instead. Apologies Jacob. Thanks for your service.
