ORFFA Round 3 (AFL Round 3)
    Circles Are Round

Come Gather Round, all you fine ORFFA coaches, and let us join together for our great new early-season celebration - Circles Are Round.

Circles Are Round ... um ... round ... um ... will see the ORFFA celebrate everything spherical and circular.

For starters, the footballs used this weekend will be 100% spherical. Ovals? Round. Goalsquares? Circular. Centre squares? Yep, big old round flat circles.

Even our centre circles will be extra circular.

All scores will be multiplied by 3.14 and then divided by 22/7.

    See you round.

I fully embrace the move to a round ball, easier to roll around the cave

Provisional Nuffers weakened line up for Round 3. Missing about 6 first choicers so giving some kids a run.

Def - Redman, Zerk-Thatcher, Clark, Brown
Mid - Serong, Gulden, Warner, Ross
    Ruck - Soldo
Fwd - Cameron, Langford, Marshall, West
    I/C - Howes, Hustwaite

If someone else misses, Amiss will get a gig.

Hmm, so I put Amiss as an emergency on the bench earlier today to cover in case Hustwaite doesn't play, saved it and it hasn't retained it in my final line up.

Not the first time this had happened this season and we are only at round 3.

Is there a glitch in the system?

That sux. I don’t think I’ve had any issues like this. I’m not sure if it’s a known issue

Misfits are short at least one, Suns/Giants on the same bye an issue for me in all leagues.
We probably need to have a conversation at some point around how we handle the weekly bye that the Devils will create.

Anyway, they may be small in number, but mighty in character :)

I had a thought a few days ago that whoever was playing you this week would have an advantage, and then I realised it was me! And I need all the help I can get.

Think I may test it in the coming weeks to see.

I am ever hopeful it is not just a case of user error!!

Ultimately it isn't the end of the world this week as my Suns/Giants bye mix has left me too nany players short against bloody good opposition. Just wouldn't want to have it happen another time.

Yeah, similar issue this week though not as bad as your team Len. Four Giants/Suns out plus Richards and JHF a week away from returning from injury.

I think that discussion around byes and the Tassie team may indeed be a good one to have.

I see what you did there :)

Happily, Mr Amiss making or missing the team made no difference against Cradle Mountain and the rampaging Nick Vlastuin. Absolute masterclass.
