Round 4 is here, and unless I'm mistaken - this is our 1st full round without teams on a bye ??
The AFL really know how to organize a dog$hit fixture..........

Get ya GWS/GCS players in (bye last week) and again, if you have any problems post your team.

    Goodluck all !!

Walpole Woylies vs Wedge Island White Pointers
Rutherglen Fugitives vs Neptune Island Noahs
Useless Loop Virgins vs Nangkita Bucks
Macquarie Island Whales vs Mt Thirsty Boozers
Sherwood Magpies vs Port Lincoln Power
Black Swamp 29ers vs Drouin Dropbears

    2024 ORFFF Round 4 winners
    • Heard Island by 51pts
    • Useless Loop by 65
    • Sherwood by 82
    • Walpole by 119
    • Drouin by 124
    • The Ponies by 237
    • Mt Thirsty by 250, and,
    • Neptune Island by 537

Vicwood's Sherwood side notched their first W of the campaign, leaving Drouin, Walpole and Drouin undefeated and the Fugs and Power as the sides yet to open their 2024 account.

Despite their off-season firesale the Shags @anthak have won 3 in a row and sit 6th, while the Fugs @tyze1 8th consecutive loss has them sitting rock bottom after the opening month.

We now have another 2 bye rounds to play with the Swans and Pies players taking the week off in Round 5.

These 2 team bye rounds are killing me. Really makes this format hard. Only loss was when I had 4 starting players out for bris v Carl. And now have another 4 starting players out this week.

hope this round 0 shit is gone next season as it makes some of these early games very lopsided when playing 4 starters less and down to luck of fixture.

While I understand the reasons behind this sentiment I can see the AFL wanting to persevere with Opening Round even if the current format changes over the initial 2 or 3 years.
