In regards to currently tradeable assets the 29ers currently hold all of their 2024 MSD picks, their 2025 PSD 1st to 5th rounders and the Noahs 2025 2nd, 4th and 6th rounders, as well as all of their 2025 MSD selections. Based on current ladder positions 2024 MSD picks would be approximately 8 and 24 and 2025 PSD picks would be 8, 24, 32, 40, 56, 64, 72 and 96. Pre-draft wise 2nd round selections or players would be up for grabs for forwards or defenders in the high 70’s or above average range, preferably aged 27 or under, older incoming players would require a corresponding discount. We have a strong contingent of young talent and one or two may need to move via trade. If trading for draft picks – some will cost a lot - others will cost much less (ie 3rd round PSD pick or upgrade of the 2025 PSD 4th and 5th rounders). Post draft wise all of our 2026 PSD picks including our first rounder will be on the table once they are able to be exchanged.

With the final pick of the MSD due today the window will re-open shortly. The ORFFF midseason trade period reopens when the draft finishes and then runs until 10pm Melb time on Wednesday 26 June 2024. Please note that 2026 pre-season draft picks will now become tradeable, however the board wishes to advise that it is currently considering some alternative proposals regarding list sizes and draft picks for 2026 onwards (for voting on in July 2024) which may marginally affect 2026 draft pick values and this should be recognised by any team trading "future" picks in or out.
