Hi All. Just a quick note that I am currently on holidays in the USA (west coast). I'm about 19 hours behind Melbourne. Shouldn't negatively impact me for the draft, but if anybody has any pre-PSD trade requests for me, it may be best not to leave these to the last minute.

    Here's a crazy idea...
If we're going to skip the first few weeks of AFL for the ORFFU (ie no ORFFU matches for AFL rounds 0-through-4), then why don't we wait for the draft, have a look at all the players perform, then pick our new players??? I'll even give coaches the flexibility to relist previously delisted players because of this change.

    So, ORFFU would be:
    • Round 1 commences AFL round 5
    • 'FU Round 17 (last regular season game) is AFL round 21
    • 'FU Finals are AFL Rounds 22-23-24
    • Mid Season can be across the 'FU mid-way point (AFL R13-R14 for trades, R14-R15 for draft, R15-R16 for final trades)

I havent looked at the fixture but if we're replacing rounds where few teams have byes with round that have 4 teams sitting out then I'm not a fan of the idea

The idea was that every AFL team has only one bye when we have to play ORFFU.

so basically, no-one in the 'FU gets f***ed over because players in their squad are or aren't involved in the gimmick of Opening Round

Plus, if we were going to delay the 'FU season start accordingly (ie skip OR-through-R4) then there's no need to rush the PSD, and we may as well enjoy watching for a while

@JPK I gather the draft starts 8am AEDST?

If that’s the case, can I take my pick after midnight AEDST tonight?

I notice the new players are not showing in the list to select. Does anyone know how/when the list will be updated?

Site hasn’t been rolled for 2025 yet. We’re working on it.
