The applicable rules to this draft: 1. Each coach will have 12 hours to make their selection, after which time that turn is skipped, if they have not posted by the time any subsequent picks come up each pick will be given 2 hours and then also skipped. Skipped picks can be taken at any time, please state in the post that it is a skipped pick along with the standard pick info. Clock is paused between midnight and 6AM. 2. Please double check that the player you are selecting is available first. Onus is on the coach to pick an available player, if you pick an ineligible player and subsequent selections are made by other coaches prior to its discovery their selections will stand and you will have to pick from the available pool at the time. Common sense prevails and will be applied by me, as commonly as I can.. 3. If for some reason two people manage to legitimately pick the same player, resulting from timing around a scheduled pick and a skipped pick, the post with the earliest time stamp is the one who keeps him. 4. At the end of this draft all teams will have a squad of 28 AFL contracted players. When making a selection please make sure there can be no confusion over who you mean, state the selection (pick) number, and ideally the player's first & surname and the AFL team he plays for. Trading during draft 1. Any trades involving players or MSD picks must contain an equal quantity of assets from both parties, PSD picks are not relevant to this statement and can be traded freely 2. Completed trades to be posted in the thread by that name 3. Any trades involving MSD picks must also be posted in the MSD discussion thread for immediate review 4. During the draft trades are passed by one of either; 6 non participating coaches approval, or 2 active hours between 8am and 11pm without any stated objection. Objections to be dealt with by me. Times like these I am reminded of how astute our ORFFA coaches are. I had eight names on a list with the hope, perhaps, I might be able to sneak one. Nup. So a respectful nod and well done to all (he says, ruefully). Picks 4-8 in particular were very good. At the moment I only have one name: Pick 10 - Sam Butler, Hawthorn. And to be honest I think I'm fortunate to get him. Though I am happy to get him given what he's gone through. Meanwhile, Lenny's selection has thrown me for a loop as Mr Goldstein was my bail out option (and a ruck, shock horror). One day I'll get a ruck - not for wont of trying. So I need some time to re-assess and see what I wish to do. Apologies.
