Hi all, I have been under the pump and mostly absent so thanks to everyone who has kept the draft ticking along

The autopick at pick 28 applied after 9 hours (plus 6 hours) Malaysia time (309pm until 609am).

As commish I am mindful that in the 2024 PSD a modified autopick was proposed but not applied and in keeping with this precedent and given the nature of the McGovern retirement the modified autopick on this occasion at pick 28 will be adjusted to Will Lorenz rather than a player widely expects to be forcibly retired before the official announcement (regardless of timing) on Thursday.

Please note that anyone who drafted Gov by choice would have been stuck with him, it is just an unfair autopick, while Lorenz (under the current rules) is a fair one.

@thokash Knevitt was traded, dropped by the original team but not yet added by the new one, an oversight not pointed out by other teams in the last 5-6 days so apologies.

Thokash will be expecting the pick to be valid so I will pm him and fingers crossed he reads it instead of going back into hibernation.

If the 9 hours limit is reached at around 3pm as a courtesy it will be extended before a proxy pick is applied by @That KI Guy as at the start of the Saturday night afl game, so trades will resume then (at the latest).
