Can @thokash get us underway sooner, but without the clock running on picks until 9am Wednesday?

 

We want to stick to the timeframes posted almost 4 weeks ago, so won’t be green lighting things being brought forward, mostly due to it impacting coaches who have planned a quiet Tuesday night on that basis.

 

I wasn't meaning for the clock to start ticking, so anyone could wait until Wednesday morning if they wanted.

 

Predicted CDT #1 back in May. Shame I couldn't get the job done back then to win that prize haha

 

Good shout! I still had a hard time convincing myself to use pick 1 on a ruck but it will hopefully be the right call. Need him to become the next Luke Jackson, but have a coach that will actually play him as proper 1st ruck.

P.S. Might have to change the team name to the Jan Juc Duffs

 

The clock has now started, a reminder that 9 hours is the limit but we aim to get though double digits of selections every day so wherever possible please leave a list of 3-4 picks or jump on within a few hours.

 

I think that W Duursma at 3 would have been gladly accepted by the Fugs (whose first pick was pick 4) at this stage yesterday.

A flurry of early trades have happened including one that affects picks through the middle stages.

I think the next 3-5 picks will be interesting in how they shape the next 15-20 picks after that.

 

In an alternate timeline where I picked Duurma pick 1 we've already finished this whole draft.

Well done @anthak, turning picks 2 and 50 into 4 and 29 - that's some seriously good trading mate

 

Obviously takes two to tango but from a points perspective it’s a fairly even trade.

 

I think all 3 coaches ahead of me got their #1 option. I am happy to have helped to facilitate that, and I'm happy with Zeke Uwland, especially as a Suns supporter.

 

Might be fairly even from a points perspective but in a draft pool where new talent is fairly shallow I think a high first round and a top 30 second round is far better than #2 and an early 4th round

 

With @tyze1 @thokash @anthak all with multiple picks in first couple of rounds, it would be good if they could check in regularly or send their mobiles to myself/TTH/yad to keep this show rolling.
