Correct mate, this is now the chat lounge. Also: A note to all addicts coaches. We had three choices to deal with emergencies; 1. One per line 2. "Auto" - Where the lowest scoring bench player replaces a zero 3. None ATM we are set to none (option 3) but have enabled an extra playing slot "Flex". Initially I believed that the Flex would mean the site replaces the worst 1 from our 12 onfield players, but it turns out we just have 13 players, not 12. Josh and I have been back and forward for a few days on what best suits our league. To be honest we haven't always agreed, but I personally have enjoyed his view of the setup, which whilst often completely divergent from mine has led to a best case for now place. Same basic structure as before, but with the addition of the flex, so 3def, 5mid,1ruck, 3 fwd, 1 flex. Rather than old school 1 emergency (which is not supported unless the bad Auto), we have activated the one per line mode. During the season we will poll you all for the ideal setup going forwad, but for now enjoy your new toys.
for the "Selectable per Position" option emergencies will replace non-playing players in matching position/s only (a dual position player will be automatically used in either position as required). If more emergencies are selected in a particular position than required, they will be used from lowest scoring (above 0) to highest as required. This is what I found mate
hmmm so I can't choose for a def/mid player to just cover def. If I pick a mid emergency and def/mid emergency, and I have a mid out, it will take the lowest scorer. Bit disappointing.
Agreed, it's something we will take up with the developers, it is however better than the completely useless "Auto"
