After what seems an eternity and years worth of crippling carnage, ORFFF round 2 is upon us. It’s a bye week for the saints and giants so play them at your peril. Full lockout is PA vs Richmond on Saturday.

The 29ers 15/1302 are complete for the week and lead the Pony’s @snoz 11/905 who need a near 100 average from Atkins, Mannagh, Meek and Reeves on Easter Monday if they are to secure a Round 2 win.
A tough round for the Ducks with 9 players out on the bye. At 3 quarter time, the Ducks have only scored 424 so far and only have Connor O'Sullivan left to play, unless Jhye Clark and/or George Stevens get unexpected late callups to play. They are tracking towards the lowest ORFFF score ever. The Shags have been enjoying the extra space on field and should end with a quadruple figure score, currently on 996 with Massimo D'Ambrossio still to play. Despite the big win, this game is likely the lowest aggregate scoring ORFFF game ever! The last two players would need to score 338+ between them to avoid this.
The final siren has sounded and we’ve extended our lead by 35. Final scores are Shags 1101 def Ducks 494
FYI we generally exclude bye round games from lowest point/aggregate and highest winning margin lists.
Round review thanks to ChatGPT. --------------------------------------------------- Round 2 of ORFFF had a bit of everything—big scores, blowouts, and a nail-biting Easter thriller that had fans clutching their chocolate eggs a little tighter. The headline act came from the clash between Port Lincoln Power and Walpole Woylies, a game that truly delivered the drama. In a contest that swung harder than an overcooked Easter piñata, the Woylies just edged it 1237 to 1218 in what will go down as one of the thrillers of the season so far. Elsewhere, the Easter spirit clearly brought out some big performances. The Maralinga Atoms lit up the scoreboard like a backyard egg hunt gone wild, posting a massive 1398—the highest score of the round—in their strong win over 3 times reigning champs Neptune Island Noahs (1241). A statement game that suggests the Atoms are a much-improved outfit this season. The Macquarie Island Whales made a splash with a solid 1159, proving too strong for the Nangkita Bucks (937), while the Mt Thirsty Boozers enjoyed their own feast, knocking off the Rutherglen Fugitives 1288 to 1121. The Drouin Dropbears handled business against Wedge Island White Pointers (1198 to 1101), and the Sherwood Magpies soared high with one of the more dominant displays of the round, comfortably beating Useless Loop Virgins 1326 to 944. The Heard Island Shags delivered the biggest blowout of the weekend, dismantling Jan Juc Ducks 1101 to 494 in a result that left little doubt by the final siren. Rounding things out, the Black Swamp 29ers put together a strong 1302 to defeat The Stony Ponys (1161), capping off a high-scoring and entertaining Easter round.
