Getting a bit bored of not doing much in the trade period so auctioning a few off, hopefully gets something happening but not as much as Fyfe did I'm sure..

    1. Liam Picken, averaged 106.5 after round 3. 99 if including.

    2. Brad Hill, averaged 78. Bound for a breakout year sooner or later, probably win the norm smith saturday as well...

Obviously differing values for the players, will listen to all offers when/if they come about and provide feedback as soon as I can and if they meet reserve.

Auction ends Sunday 4th of October at 10PM, so its a short one.. :) </div>

MBM offer pick 28 for Hill

Hey Len, not bad, but not quite, I'm just thinking of it as if Hill was a free agent I think he'd go a bit earlier in the draft than that. Thanks for the offer though, best one so far. :)</div>

You know where I am if you change your mind :)

    lol

reminds me of that classic (and unashamedly un-PC) 12th man banter between Bill Lawry and Max Walker:

Bill: Grahemy Labrooy? His name's Graeme Max...

Max: Yes, well all his team mates have such long and complicated names. Seems a shame for this young man to miss out. I think I'll just go on calling him Grahemy.

Bill: Jeez you're f*cked in the head sometimes Max.

Though to be fair, Hill had been in pretty good form the past 4 weeks ... and got injured in the GF too.

I still like him as a player (I traded him to Fitzy about 12 months ago) - if he gets a fair run at it he'll improve as some of the aging Hawks players move on.

It'll be interesting to see how he goes.

I like him too, and the Spelunkers are not ruling out making an approach to pair him up with his brother in the guts, I'm trying to devalue him Chris in the eye of his current owner... sheesh

Damn it, I keep buggering this 'devaluing thing up'. Sorry Bandit.

Can we say he gets injured a bit? Does that help? :)

Opens September 7th, closes November 6th. You know the drill. Below in case you don't Auction Rules: (updated 19/9/14 Len)<br style='color: #000000;[/img] <br style='color: #000000;[/img] <br style='color: #000000;[/img] <br style='color: #000000;[/img] 1. All players or picks being auctioned cannot be pulled before that day/time.<br style='color: #000000;[/img] <br style='color: #000000;[/img] 3. No asset being auctioned should be the subject of private trade negotiations nor used as part of a bid in another auction, until the auction of the asset has reached it's conclusion/closing time, with or without a sale.<br style='color: #000000;[/img] <br style='color: #000000;[/img] 4. Stating a reserve, or a preferred return type for the auctioned asset is voluntary.<br style='color: #000000;[/img] <br style='color: #000000;[/img] 5. Never thought I'd be the first person to put up something to auction off. It's a weird one mind you, but we'll see how it goes. I am offering up the package of Pick 11 and Cory Gregson
I am seeking an improved first round draft pick. Not interested in any players. Personally, I think Gregson has quite a bit of currency. Played all bar one game for the Cats so clearly they rate him too, will be a forward next year. The possibility of more midfield time awaits with some recent retirements of a few of his teammates. Come to think of it, why am I doing this? Too late now, I suppose. I'll put a long expiry date on this one as I'm not sure of the traffic on the forums at the moment. We'll say the Sunday after the GF.

    AUCTION
Lefties are throwing up for auction their 2013 PSD pick #2 selection: Joe Daniher - Fwd (Essendon)
You've probably heard of him. 21 yrs old, 47 games, SC 60 avg in last two seasons. Would be a handy F4 for many teams, but will no doubt be a walk up F2 for most teams within 2-3 yrs. The kid is a monster but not likely to feature heavily in the Lefties tilt over the next season or two. What i'm after is a top 6 PSD pick or an 80+ defender (26yrs or younger) Auction ends Fri 25th Sept at 9:30pm (AEST)

    new auction...

    Andrew Mackie, Geelong defender.
Has only just turned 31 last month.

    He averaged88.2SC this season, after ave86.1in 2014 and87.4in 2013.

Before this season, he only played less than 20 games in a season once (19 in 2011) since Hawthorn beat Geelong in the 2008 grand final.

He ranked in the top 20 defenders in the whole AFL for 2015.

In return, I'm looking for a 1st 15 player aged 24-25 in any position, except forward. Or a high draft pick. or both.
Not sure how long this will run for.

Lets see how it goes. <div>

Just testing the market. Id be more than happy to keep him :) Prap and I went on a bit of a frenzie bidding on him in your auction. I reckon I paid overs for him, but still happy I landed him as he played very well this season. Just doesnt really fit the profile of my team in terms of ages. My team is still a couple of years away from being at its strongest, and Mackie may not be playing a big role by then. I imagine he would be a good fit for a number of other teams though. Now just gotta hurry up and wait for all the bids to come flooding in hahaha

Feel free to approach 'off camera' for Mighty Joe. I may consider lowering my standards, depending on the offer.
