Actually just logged into team and see I had Mitch Brown, Hartley, some guy Francis, Parish.
McDonald-Tipungwut and Grimley with the Burger man. I am now doubtful that speculative ruck division is workable.

Actually funny enough as a Carlton supporter I noticed I did not have Weitering in there as just assumed he was too pricey for a back man. May have to revisit that thought on March 24th.

May have to include Dea in there as well.

Dea, Hartley, Brown, Weitering, McDonald-Tipu, Marchbank, Collins and Ruggles look like some of cash cow options in backline to sort through in next 20 days and decide whom to pick.

tbh I wouldn't spend 215k on Marchbank, he is on the edge of best 22 and battling with Corr for the last tall spot, assuming Leon doesn't name someone like Tomlinson there instead, at that price point you'd want more certainty I think

Yeah, just a name thrown out there from this week. Have not had in my team.

However, as I type I been looking at my SC team for first real time this year with a view to round one which is now 20 days away.
Looking at my team the cash cow forwards seem uncertain about. Charlie Curnow, Lincoln McCarthy and Shane Yarran I got in there at moment with Essendon DEF/FWD McD-Tipu and both Petrraca and Kerridge I got on midfield bench and just squeezed Wells and Dan Currie in after ditching Luenberger and Grimley out of my squad. The forward rookies make me nervous. No confidence at all I will have Curnow, McCartney and Yarran there in 20 days time.

CEllis, Kerridge Cox and SYarran my fwd rookies atm, but lots of water to pass under the bridge yet.
I am in the no Petracca camp atm if he isn't named R1, probably be the first of at least 30 calls I get wrong

Not looked at Corey Ellis price yet. Mason Cox is a tricky one considering he is rookie listed at Collingwood.
I will probably pick Petracca whether he plays round one or not. I would only leave him out if there was any reason he was not playing the first 3 or 4 rounds so could use him as second generation cash cow around round 6 but I'm not expecting him to have such a delay to his debut.

Looking forward to this weeks games. Gonna help massively with rookies (hopefully anyway) but i'm looking to try and separate some of the value and mid pricers.
      Interested in people thoughts on:

Franklin v Greene v Hall - Personally running with Greene here as I see him taking Treloar's spot and the gws making the finals through natural improvement.

Wells v Menzel - Let face it both are likely to get injured or even get a rest at some point however I think with running one of these guys from the start should get you decent points at a discount. Currently have Wells based on previous averages and his performance last week. By starting with him I've managed to squeeze another premium midfielder in.

Greene has zero chance of taking Treloar's spot, currently that has Jack Steel's name on it with Jake Barrett, Jacob Hopper and Mat Kennedy chasing him for it

      Franklin v Greene v Hall
Hall though has got a number of spots to grab also (particularly with Swallow out for a good while now), and in the last 3rd of the year (with the GCS injuries) absolutely smashed their best and fairest, averaging 115sc over the last third of the season.

Maybe Hall is the way to go then! Suits me fine as he is cheaper. Thanks for the insight guys!

Polec only absent because of the hard surface at Etihad, has played both previous NAB games and also played last weekend for Port Magpies and was BOG.
Butcher far from being a notable absentee, apart from the fact that it clearly demonstrates exactly where he sits in the pecking order at Alberton.
This morning O'Shea and Byrne-Jones were cut from the squad, and it was announced that Young was travelling over as the emergency.

He actually played a good game in the SANFL trial last Friday night against West - took some really strong marks and kicked 4 goals - to put that into context, Sarge only kicked 1.
Will be interesting to see if the appointment of Chad as Port SANFL coach can bring about some improvement and consistency in Butch's game.
