Anyone know how long MacPhearson is out for?

      Was thinking of:
      Hewitt to Hopper
Dunkley to Gray (I know he hasn't made any cash but unlikely to play and gives me more depth) - that said on the extended interchange so will depend on what happens there.

Might trade MacPhearson instead which will release an additional 37k, but if is going to be back later on think it might be better off taking the opportunity to dump Dunkley.

The other option is to grab Bailey Williams and downgrade in the backline. Doesn't seem like there are going to be a heap of options and I need to do 2 def downgrades in the next 5 weeks. Hopper will become my M9 which seems like a bit of a waste but is good depth for the rest of the year.

      Going for overall (currently 17th).

1 for Dunkley out (assuming he doesn't play), 2 for MacPhearson, 3 for DJB/Brown to B Williams. Should be able to be close to fully upgraded in 5 weeks time (assuming no injuries). Round 14 Bye is slightly better than 15.

Current Rookies: AMT, Adams, Brown, Byrne, DJB, Ruggles, Smith, Dunkley, MacPhearson, Hewitt, Grimley, Kerridge, BKen, Petracca.

      Thanks in advance.

Some pressure lifted off this week which is good. Shame about Laird still riding pine but good to have Wells, Adams and Barlow back in our teams.

Have you got one of AMT, Adams or Brown FWD & one of Kerridge, BKen or Petracca in MID. In that case you could go DBJ to Hopper via MPP. DBJ is due to drop $10K this week (-$5K over 2 weeks) while Hewett is due to rise $13K this week ($26K after 2).

Thanks. Saw the TBC but didn't find it on the GC website. The tough question now is who is better cover Dunkley or MacPherson given the time I am most going to need it is late in the season when I might have no trades left.

Clayton Oliver is the other out that is fantasy relevant (for me), I still have him and he's been in good form recently, so big shame he's out :(

Judging by all those def rooks it sounds like you need a def upgrade. Quite a few of these guys have made their dough, so a fence paint via Willaims or Collins could be worthwhile.
I don't see the value in Hopper. Less cash in the downgrade, JS not rock solid with others still to return, role and therefore points potential not yet clear. Mathieson (or Trengove in near future) seem better options.

      Just my 2c

Personally I'm not going Hopper either in any of the comps bar DFS.

With VC, I'm porbably going with Hanners as I like the Friday options for some reason. Hasn't dropped below the ton all year and playing in Sydney should help him too.

What are people's thoughts on Hopper? Seems expensive as a downgrade option especially if he's not guaranteed a spot for the Giants

Looks like possibly no trades this week. But having said that that will involve playing AMT, Brown, Hartley OR DBJ on the field. Happy to do that then re look at things next few weeks coming into they byes! One question i do have is who to play on field in the fwds. I have Wells on the bench from last week coming back but have had Kerridge BenKen and Petracca on field! One for the thumbs

      Option 1 - Bench BenKen
      Option 2 - Bench Petracca
      Option 3 - Bench Kerridge
      Option 4 - Bench Wells

The Chad at $380K an option this week? Has been a bit up and down but only a short hop from many of the rookies. Did finish last year quite well and was one of the more expensive starting FWDs from memory.

I was trying to decide the same minus been kennedy Ipod. Seeing as i still have Menadue i was gonna loop Petracca for Kerridge should he go 75 plus!

I would want to see another ton this week before I considered him, even though he is cheap at $380k it's for a reason. He will still be cheap at $400k and you will have a better form line.

as indicated in the TEAMS we have 3 defenders on debut this week and Joyce is a possibility for the Suns, round 12 could potentially be a decent one for downgrading Brown, Hartley etc

May as well pick Shane Edwards if you're going there. ~$410k because of injuries at start of season, but is back into form and is a proven 90+ averager who has been given a more midfield based role attending centre bounces and winning his own ball.

To be more exact he's $407.2k with 4 of his last 5 scores being 85+ (yes he got 44 vs Hawks) and a BE of 44 after scoring 107 and 93 in his last two games. He averaged 91.3 last season and while there is a concern with his scoring ability in losses I expect the Tigers to win a large portion of their remaining matches this year (not to say that they will play finals, but it's possible) and he does produce good scores in Richmond wins

Cheers for the comparison @RPritch, got me thinking... the M/F of Edwards is handy, but I feel like Wingard has the big game advantage and can go large at times. Will keep thinking and probably end up doing something completely different haha
