OK everyone, here's the poll you've all been waiting for - no, not the Federal Election - its the Beyond 2016 ORFFU List Management Poll There's been a lot of discussion around this, so hopefully I capture the options well enough. If not, let me know, and I'll change the wording. At this stage I'm going to keep the list sizes separate (which may be a bad decision... time will tell), so this is only on how / how many / when / why players will have to leave a club. I also think haggling over the exact numbers here might cause confusion, so it'll just be the concepts at this stage, numbers can be included / discussed at a later date. The MSD will also remain as an optional draft, regardless of decision made. No Change - Keep trading, drafting, and delisting exactly as they are, with every coach able to make their own decisions whenever they want to. Mandatory List Turnover - Each coach must make a mandatory number of minimum changes to their list over a calendar year, however they see fit. This can be trades or drafting, during any available period. Mandatory Delisting (inc Retirements) - Prior to the PSD, and regardless of any other activities, each team must reduce the number of players on their list, such that they have a mandatory minimum number of picks in the PSD. Delisting of retired players (or AFL delisted players) will be included in the quota, its only open spots on the team list that matter. Mandatory Delisting (exc Retirements) - Prior to the PSD, and regardless of any other activities, each team must reduce the number of players on their list, such that they have a mandatory minimum number of picks in the PSD. Any players that leave the team due to retirement or being delisted from their AFL side (and not picked up by another side) will NOT count in the quota, and will be extra draft picks for this particular team ontop of their mandatory minimum. All ORFFU delisted players must be back in the available pool of free agents to count. Hopefully that all makes sense, and we have a good clear poll winner.
