Round 19 Tips

Only three games even look like having the potential to be close this week:

• 5 big outs for the Dogs makes life hard and the Cats were superb last week … but with a relatively modest 65% confidence we expect Geelong won’t have things all their own way against the determined Dogs that for all their outs do welcome back two huge names in Stringer and Dahlhaus.
  
  
• West Coast somehow found a way to be thrashed for the entire game by Melbourne and still win but they would want to improve their form considerably if they’re to be a threat in finals. On paper West Coast clearly the better side but their form at the G is poor and Collingwood’s best is threatening which keeps the win probability down to 71%
  
  
• North and St Kilda could well be playing for 8th spot given their respective draws home and if both teams bring last week’s form this has all the makings of a cracker. A bit more experience (427 games worth for Boomer!) should get the Roos over the line but again not huge confidence in the Roos by our model with the confidence level coming it at a touch over 60%.

So, whilst we would like to be following our “predicted tip accuracy” perfectly – we are a touch below up to about 75% tip confidence and well above from that point onwards (59 tips for 55 wins). So fair to say if you see a tip above 75% (like 6 of our tips this week) – there is a fairly good chance they will get up. And with that – I’m off to place a multi!
