Well, we got ourselves back above the 2000 point mark in round 4, with a total of 2,047 points, thanks to Cripps and no thanks to Heeney. This had us ranked at 25,309 for the week.
Looking at the season stats, and we have 8,106 points in 2015, and a total rank of 38,104 after 4 rounds.
We're clearly not back in business yet, as the cliché goes, but atleast we're headed in the right direction. I'd like to say we're taking it one week at a time, but that would be BS, as we're trying to plan ahead with trades for the current week, and trades for the future, as should be all SuperCoaches. Maybe we're so good that we're out-smarting ourselves???

Obviously Gibson was back with a bang, nearly doubling his score from last week. To counter that, Cheater did his best to halve his score from last week. Meanwhile we gave Oxley a chance on the field this week, and he did manage to better than halve his score from last week! Everyone knows that defenders are a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows, but this is just crazy! We also traded in Smith, to have him (and the rest of his team really) decide not to turn up for round 4. So, with our second-highest scoring defender sitting on the bench, and Brown also pulling half a finger out this week, we missed 46 points down back for round 4.

Its that tale of two halves thing again. We were one of the fortunate ones who had Cripps onfield, and were able to take his 172. Then we had that Heeney bloke on field, who was doing his best Relton impersonation! We saw Pendles' 119 as VC and thought about it, but the magical 120 points wasn't broken, so we thought we'd take the risk with Beams - clearly a good decision that one (37 points there, and we even had the Clark-McGrath loophole ready to go). For the second week in a row, our captains' total score was less than our top scoring player. While we never would have had the *sultanas* to put even the VC on Cripps, or have Miller onfield after his past performances, there's still 166 points left wanting in the midfield this week.
Rucks:

Not much to be said here. Goldy is clearly the ruckman to have this year (sofar anyway), while NicNat has been more than somewhat of a disappointment. There's bigger fish to fry (which is why we've got ourselves a really big frypan!) than this right now, so we're likely to leave the rucks as is.

If Hogaaannn isn't fast becoming one of your favourite cult players, then maybe you need to question your tastes in cult players. The bloke is becoming a star in his own right, but that name... just wait for round 9 when the Dees take on the Power - if Roos and Hinkley can't find a way to put Hogan and Schulz on eachother for atleast 2 minutes, then they really don't have any sense of occasion. Anyway, with two donuts on the pine, there were no points lost in our forward line this week. Much like the backline, we had one player crack the ton, then everyone else just trudge around the park.

Missed opportunities this week totaled 212 points, which would have bumped our 2,047 up to 2,259 (or around 600th place for the week). Clearly we wouldn't have picked Captain Cripps, so a more realistic Captain Pendles would have given us 2,206 points, or around 2,150th place for the week.

Trades:
Prior to round 3 we traded Lamb and Blakely, who weren't getting a game, for McGrath and Nelson. Like Lamb, McGrath has ended up injured, but over the last two weeks we're still 145 points (although not onfield) and $96,000 up for these two trades. Last week we dumped the injured pair of Wines and Bartel for Swan and Smith. Having both play onfield for us, puts us 151 points up sofar after these trades. Due to Smith not performing so well, we're actually $3,300 in the red on this pair, but for some keepers, its not the end of the world.
All up in our four trades this year, although not all the points have been onfield, we're 296 points ahead, and $92,700. Atleast we're in the positive in something.

For this weeks' trades, there's the obvious desire to go the cash-grab option of trading in both Tarrant and Krakouer, which the McGrath injury allows us to make one of. The questions still remain: do we try for both? If so, who else do we drop? If not, which do we go for?
