    As with all years, the pre-season work has been done, final tweaks as the teams are announced will happen (of course) and we all start on zero points.
    [span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]With all the excitement of ASADA wrapping up in a nice little package, it fills me with much happiness to be rolling into another footy season! Seriously, this saga has striped the joy out of the last few years, so it will be nice to roll into a season, excited about what might be.
    [span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]We'll get the teams posted in this thread as they come out.
    (That said, I'll be heading off camping tomorrow night for the Easter weekend, so I hope that my phone is up to the task! :D If anyone wants to update said teams into the post as they are confirmed, I'd appreciate it!)

      Just letting you know that there might be a late spot opened up in the 2015 TS Champions League 48 Team MultiStage League/Knockout Comp.

      Dkontro has until 12 noon on Sunday to re-enter 2 leagues or there is a spot up for grabs in Group G (have to draw the line somewhere mate sorry)

      I was fairly excited when I saw that he only had 19 touches, then pretty gutted when I saw his SC score....a few sub 100 scores to start the season would have been amazing!!

      How's everyOne round here going? I have a feeling my 943/12/Fyfe is way below par, but given 7 of my 8 rookies on field have played there is room for improvement.

      Hubberd, Dusty and Cripps all disappointing but I think they are fairly common picks. Was glad I didn't put the C on Gaz judging by his DT score throughout the match, but his SC score was crazy from 19 possies!

      The awful starts continue, didn't have time to even think about what rookies to put on field vs bench. So far I have left McIntosh, Saad and Vandenburgs scores on the bench......
      1047/12 and gaz as captain. Thank goodness for SC scoring system (119 off 19 touches I will take for my C)

      Yes I couldn't believe abletts score from 61DT. I watched the game and expected something in the 80-90 range given he scored two last quarter goals which got the suns back into the game, but fluffed a third with a goal square fumble and looks to be a bit uncomfortable with that shoulder. First time in years ive started without him in the team so hoping for an early price drop.

      I have some low scores on the ground, goodes, goddard, martin and salem and also have heeneys score on the bench. Others like Vandenberg and McIntosh have been good. Only one game but touk miller is shaping up to be one of the correction trades!

      I agree that ruck scores seem to have been affected a lot more than was let on. That being said Mumford only scored 66 dt points, if he can get 85+ dt points then hopefully that tranlates to a 110 pt SC score.

      Considering quietly bringing in the Bont and hoping no-one notices he was ever not there, because as a Dogs fan it's bordering on painful not to have him. I thought he'd get tagged and wouldn't average enough despite the odd big game, and he did indeed get tagged but his ability to pump out 126 from what I thought was a relatively quiet game can't be ignored... he was quiet for most of the game and then had 4-5 good involvements in the second half. His game is v SC-friendly. Can't recall him kicking the ball backwards or less than about 40m.

      Players just love to prove you wrong. Rich tons it up and Wells spuds. Always thought it was the former.

      Yeah, massive over-correction on the ruck scores this year. May have to go through a season, or even two, for them to adjust back to some middle ground.

      *sigh* the usual round 1 regrets, which inevitably outweigh the few i got right. at least there seem to be a few friends in the same camp this year.

      regrets include my expensive defenders (gibson to come) - shaw &amp; johnson, even lumumba given i was sooo close to going tom mcdonald instead (might still do that for r2 - looks like a strong breakout chance), and switching from tex to dusty martin 2 days before the richmond game. yes really!

      Still, happy with not having rocky or ablett (though still wondering whether champion data have a formula that adds 30 points if your name's ablett) in favour of wines &amp; danger, and for not spending big bucks on the rucks.

      Rookies hit and miss, but too early to judge.

      Now I just need to keep my trading finger tied behind my back for a couple of rounds so I don't do my usual reactive thing! The two temptations would be:
      1. Lumumba into Tom McDonald - basis that preseason form won't translate for H
      2. Dusty into Tex - basis that Dusty has shown he can be tagged out.

      TU - do it
      TD - don't be stupid, it's only round 1!

      Despite scoring poorly, Lumumba looked extremely good to me. He had a huge impact on the game and I can see him improving on his rd1 score. Dusty had the worst game I've ever seen him play and think he will bounce back from this game and certainly not play quite that bad for the rest of the year. Also I just don't understand why so many people think Ablett shouldn't have scored 119. I watched the entire game and he was simply influential and deserved to be GCS's highest scorer

      Re Ablett: as one who took him in I admit I'm now a little worried as he looked bad, but in reality 119 was an excellent return in a game they were badly beaten in. Those who've gone in with him didn't expect (or shouldn't have expected IMO) the 130-140s in the first couple of rounds - it was more hoping he'd return to that scoring by about round 3-4 and we'd enjoy his captain scores until others are able to get him in, which could be a while depending on how much they are prepared to compromise.

      That's my theory anyway....! It will all come unravelled if Gaz keeps playing like he did for three quarters on Sat..

      same here, and Ive got Goldy and NicNat, who both did ok. But there may not be much point spending much $ there at all. Bellchambers looks good.

      I dont think Ill actually make any trades this week, But ill admit Im considering it.

      Ages ago when scoring changes were announced, we were talking starting midpriced rucks. Wonder why that idea died off.
