Im liking mirra next week although that will probably mean cashing in naughton a week early. Cant flick doedee finalyson or murray and murphy has had only the one pay rise

does it work better to move Finlayson into the mids and turf out a mid or forward ?

I used DPP to switch Keefe and Sicily both on fwd line. I figure I’ll look to trade one of them back again in the coming weeks.

Only problem is that I’ve been using Keefe as a floating loophole donut between fwd & def, and I left Doedee on the bench with nobody available to activate his score :(
Was a mistake. I set up my sIster’s TG team, and my mum’s team properly but forgot about my own, so now I’m kinda hoping I get a late out in def, either that or everyone smashes it ;)

Oh dang, just realised that I left Cole on the field so that I could take a look at, then loophole Doedee.

I pulled the trigger on Sidebum this morning but now I’m considering duel position Toby Maclean (F/M). Finished last year strongly also. There’s also Luke Dunstan at $485,200...bit of rebate here too

Possibly, theyre manoeuvres i often forgot about the dpp switch trades. Could only be a mid though as dont have any def/fwd players.

Anyone concerned Sicily might be switched back to forward to cover these injuries up there?

Nice start to the round so far with doedee laird and heeney. Heeney could have been quite a bit more if he hadn't sprayed those goals in the last quarter

Would be interested in Mirra's security if anyone has thoughts?

      I can go Brayshaw/Dow -> Coniglio/Mirra but it's a risk...

      TU: Do it
      TD: Don't

I think he plays 6-8 games this season but not consecutively.

1292/13 capt Heeney for me so far.

Not a great start, considering some of the excellent scores I see in my leagues!

My score includes a 21 from Garlett onfield, and 51 from Tuohy... and it doesn’t include Doedee’s 100 which is stranded on my bench :(

Take the money and run on Garlett Im thinking anthak. One more decent score would have been nice before cashing in but he definitely can’t be trusted on field. Pretty ordinary imho and probably this years version of Jarrod Pickett.

1274/12 for me have Fyfe as V which I can’t loophole unless Fritsch gets dropped realised I needed to use Cripps as the last loophole option but it was too late. Bonner wasn’t good again and has been rubbish since I brought him in on the back of his price and round 1 score probably not the the only one. That did allow me to bring in coniglio as well as the 2nd correction trade so not all bad but the axe is being sharpened for Mirra next week!

Just realised my 1292 is from 12, not 13, because Goldstein will be coming on for Olango who I used to loophole Heeney. Olango was being counted as part of the 13.

So I feel a lot better about my score after realising that!

Yes, I think you’re right, as long as a good option presents itself.

I’ll be looking to find a way to bring Merrett in this week so I’ll need some $$ for that and not sure I’ll get enough from Garlett. Might do though, I’ll have to see how everything plays out. I also don’t know who else to trade out, cause my other rookies haven’t matured enough yet either.

This might help with your sums. By my reckoning, Garlett will be going up to approx. $211800 with a BE of 32 while Brayshaw (Freo) will be approx $222,000 with a BE of 26. My reckonings won't be exact but might help..
Brayshaw just might stay one more week for mine and Garlett can move on for Guelfi, if his 2nd game is OK.

I'm 11/1223 with Fyfe capt. and 12/1244 if Fritsch is out, cause that means I get Garlett's 21. And I had Doedee's 100 on the bench.

      14 / 1446. Captain yet to play.

Tossing up between Holman or Mitchell for that role.

Hey thanks, Choppers. I’d already worked out expected price movements too.

I’m not sure where you’re getting your figures from choppers, but you’re better off using the calculator here on TS. It’s usually more accurate.

      Brayshaw

      Garlett

Very similar to what you’ve posted anyway.

Anyway, there’s still a few games to go this round, and it’ll be interesting to see how all of the remaining rookies go as well.
