OK - going to put Kieren Jack on the (non auction but will be accepting offers) block for an MSD pick inside the first 40. Has played all games this year, is a M/F, averages about 65 ... having a rest for management purposes this week, but is good for a spot every week in the Swans best 22. He is the sort of guy who can jump in and fill a doughnut in the mids, up forward or on the bench for squads that might have a lot of injuries or non playing youngsters. Cradle Mountain need to cut two players and might possibly cut a third. Inaugural Devil Sam Gilbert (def) has been the last player retained at the 2017 mid-season and 2018 pre-season and will be one of the players cut. The second player cut was going to be Liam Picken (fwd) however in the past couple of days there has been some better news about Liam possibly being able to return from his concussion so we are going to retain him on the CMD list. Cameron Pedersen (fwd/ruck) and/or Shaun Grigg (mid) are likely to be cut by the Devils. Including last night Grigg has played 10 of a possible 12 games for Richmond in 2018 and is averaging 76 so is a reliable option as a depth midfielder. Grigg is CMD’s ninth ranked mid and hasn’t played a game for the club all season but has been an emergency five times. If anyone has an interest in S Grigg, C Pedersen or S Gilbert send me a PM.

For either player we are ideally looking for a player under 27 who is a best 22 AFL player.
