With Hibberd, NicNat and Sicily out my team will be bringing in Grundy and Macrae and playing one of J Smith/Murphy down back (with Hibberd at D8) and Ballard will be my cover for Robbie Gray being a possible late out.

My fingers are crossed that my opponent in my main league is out of trades otherwise it could be season over.

I got no cover for Gray if he's out...why is he not a M/F? :(

D Cameron in for his first game, I would laugh if he scores more than whatever NicNat replacement people trade in.

Olango and Sicily are my only two players not playing this week.
I will trade Sicily too (to Lloyd) so essentially a full complement! With Olango available for captains loophole :)

I also have no cover if Gray is out but am playing the bottom placed team in one of my leagues so ill wait to trade Nicnat coz i think i can beat him with 21 haha

So I've got Sicily (in fwds), NicNat and Gray, with English on Ruc bench. Strongly considering trading English to Darcy Cameron and hoping for a score in the 80s, lets me bring in any Forward I like and I've got Battle on the bench if Gray is a late out. Can then trade out NicNat the week after to free up even more cash.
However also leaves me playing either Higgins or Ahern on field as I still hadn't actually got my final 22 spot filled.

Or the more obvious thing to do is swap Grundy for NicNat, play Ahern in the fwd line for now and bring in either Danger or Oliver in MF. Then hope that I can bring Greene or Darling in next week in forward line.

Who is the better option for the run home:
Dangerfield, facing: Dees, Brisbane, Richmond, Hawthorn, Freo, GC
Oliver, facing: Geelong, Adelaide, GC, Sydney, West Coast, GWS.
Gaff, facing: Bulldogs, North, Freo, Port, Dees, Brisbane
Macrae, facing: West Coast, Port, St Kilda, North, Carlton, Richmond

Oliver is facing toughest opposition, but that makes me think that he'll score the best in that run of games as his team will need him to just to be in contention?
But Macrae seemed to score against anyone, good or bad.

Danger and Macrae would be my picks of that group, and I have neither of them.

If i was to use my last 2 trades this week for NicNat and Sicily wanted lloyd but can only get him if i get Lycett as my back up ruck or can get Martin and then get o lower ranked def TMac Savage J.McGovern

Macrae for Sicily via Ahern DPP for coverage.

With Heath Grundy as emergency, I'd say Colin O'Riordan is out - pity, I liked his first game. The boy has some balance and skill.

Urgh. Neither Liam Ryan nor Tim Smith even named as emergencies again this week. I need to ditch one of them to ensure I have forward bench cover (and I will shift Ahern/Spargo across from mids bench). Would appreciate opinions on which one will play fewer games for the remainder of the season, and therefore which one I should trade out.

Option 1: trade out Liam Ryan ($238K)
Option 2: trade out Tim Smith ($224K)
      • Option 2 Option 2 x 4

Ok so one for not the thumbs but opinions
I have 2 trades left with Nicnat and Sicily. I have cover in Mihocek in def and nothing in the ruck
Option 1 - do nothing hold play with 21
Option 2 - trade both for lycett and Lloyd
Option 3 - trade both for Martin and McGovern
      • Option 3 Option 3 x 3
      • Option 2 Option 2 x 1

Option 3 for mine IPOD. Option 2 I reckon TK.

For me, money and trades very tight. So options are:
      1. Trade L. Austin for Rance (keep Hibberd and plan to loophole Hibberd/Rance with L Murphy in finals)
      2. Trade L. Austin for Shaw (keep Hibberd and plan to loophole Hibberd/Rance with L Murphy in finals)
      3. Trade Hibberd for Hurley (L. Austin and L Murphy bench in finals)
      4. Trade Hibberd for Howe (L. Austin and L Murphy bench in finals)
      5. Trade Hibberd for L. Ryan (L. Austin and L Murphy bench in finals)

The Crews Selection for Captain this Week:

Captain Pugwash Selection: (Form: Solid, lucky with injuries, loves to trade)
      • (VC) Grundy > (C) Gawn
Seamen Staines Selection: (Form: Terrible all year, embarrasses himself most weeks)
      • (VC) Gawn > (C) Mitchell
Master Bates Selection: (Form: Unlucky and a bit stiff all year with soft tissue injuries)
      • (VC) Laird > (C) Macrae

Got Lucky - due to limited $$ I ended up trading in Dusty (139) for Sicily and L.Ryan for Austin.
