On behalf of the FIXture Committee - @Bandit @JC @chris88 and myself, please see below for all your round by round match ups for the coming 2019 season.

Thank you to @chris88, who wrote all the blurbs for the rounds

I am going to have to put this up in 2 posts as it's to big for one.

    Round 1 Date Thursday 21.03.2019 – AFL Round 1
    THEME: Welcome New Coaches Round
Round 1 is New Coaches Round - and we have a couple of new coaches to welcome, with @DaveH and @TheTassieHawk fully aboard the good ship SS ORFFA for season 2019. Fittingly, the Wanderers and Nuffers will square off in Round 1 of the season, so one of them will emerge with a win (unless there is a draw; if that's the case everyone wins, everyone gets a prize and we all go home happy).

    Gariwerd Cockatoos V Whitsunday Warriors
Gundagai Grasshoppers V Larrikin Lagoon Lefties
Foul Bay Chickens V Venus Bay Vultures
Cradle Mountain Devils V Wineglass Bay Packers
Lovely Banks Lilacs V Charlies Opening Spelunkers
Iron Knob Codpieces v Mount Beauty Uglies
Wagga Wagga Wombats v Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles
Marble Bar Misfits v Birdsville Battlers
Nowhere Else Wanderers V Nareewillock Nuffers

    Round 2 Date Thursday 28.03.2019 – AFL Round 2
    THEME: Women’s Celebration Round
This round is a chance to offer a shout-out to all the great women in our lives, all the great women who help steer the great game of Aussie Rules towards success, and of course all of those who play in the AFLW. For the ORFFA, this round is marked by a marquee match-up between @Jen's Lilacs and @Tracey's team from Wineglass Bay.

    Nareewillock Nuffers V Whitsunday Warriors
Birdsville Battlers V Nowhere Else Wanderers
Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles V Marble Bar Misfits

    Round 3 Date Thursday 04.04.2019 – AFL Round 3
    THEME: Walesy Appreciation Round
Hooray for Walesy, our benevolent overlord who ensures the TS site runs as smoothly and efficiently as a ... well ... smooth and efficient website. Importantly, TS offers all of us in AFL keeper leagues and other varied annual fantasy comps a way to prove just how inept our player selections can be.
    Hooray for Walesy!

    Whitsunday Warriors V Birdsville Battlers
    Nareewillock Nuffers V Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles
Nowhere Else Wanderers V Mount Beauty Uglies

Foul Bay Chickens V Gundagai Grasshoppers

    Round 4 Date Thursday 11.04.2019 – AFL Round 4
    THEME: Tattoo Awareness Round
Body art is a proud tradition among many of the world's Indigenous people which can date back thousands of years and can have important cultural significance to those who have made the decision to have ink placed under their skin with the help of a sharp object.
Or you can be Jake Stringer. Tattoos aren't the problem. Bad tattoos are the problem.

    Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles V Whitsunday Warriors
Mount Beauty Uglies V Birdsville Battlers
Charlies Opening Spelunkers V Nareewillock Nuffers
Wineglass Bay Packers V Nowhere Else Wanderers

Foul Bay Chickens V Cradle Mountain Devils

    Round 5 Date Thursday 18.04.2018 – AFL Round 5
    THEME: Mark Seaby Memorial Round
Draft SNAFUs are fun. Choosing ineligible players, making picks in the wrong order ... all part of the great gigantic fun ride that is the ORFFA. Mr Seaby - whose immortalisation as the poster-child of draft choice fun was almost challenged by a semi-SNAFU involving young Bomber Matt Guelfi in the 2018 MSD - is a reminder that no matter how much planning you do, there's always another coach ready and waiting to draft your sleeper pick from right under your nose.

Whitsunday Warriors V Mount Beauty Uglies
Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles V Charlies Opening Spelunkers
Birdsville Battlers V Wineglass Bay Packers
Nareewillock Nuffers V Venus Bay Vultures

Iron Knob Codpieces V Foul Bay Chickens
Lovely Banks Lilacs V Cradle Mountain Devils

    Round 6 Date Wednesday 24.04.2018 – AFL Round 6
    THEME: Commentators Round
WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEE. It is ORFFA Commentators Round where we cele- WWWWOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE -brate the most important part of the AFL – the commentators. WWWWWOOOOOWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEE Because if we didn’t set aside a round where we acknow – WWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEE – ledged those fantastic professionals that call our great – WWWWOOOOOWWWWWWWEEEEEEEE – game, we’d never notice them at all, right?
    Special.

Charlies Opening Spelunkers V Whitsunday Warriors
Wineglass Bay Packers V Mount Beauty Uglies
Venus Bay Vultures V Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles

Lovely Banks Lilacs V Iron Knob Codpieces

    Round 7 Date Friday 03.05.2019 – AFL Round 7
    THEME: FF Anonymous Round
I don't have a problem, you have a problem. No, in fact, we all have problems - the least of which may well be our obsession with fantasy football. And there's no 12-step program to deal with this obsession (unless your name is @chris88 and you just up and leave, how rude of him). So we should instead acknowledge our "issues" in a collective way through an appropriately-themed round, and then endeavour to control our desire to check fantasy scores before match scores.

Whitsunday Warriors V Wineglass Bay Packers
Charlies Opening Spelunkers V Venus Bay Vultures
Mount Beauty Uglies V Larrikin Lagoon Lefties
    Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles V Gariwerd Cockatoos
    Birdsville Battlers V Gundagai Grasshoppers

    Round 8 Date Friday 10.05.2019 – AFL Round 8
    THEME: The Spud Round
The great Allan Jeans famously compared footballers to sausages - "You can fry them, grill them, bake them ... but they're still footballers. And while we don't condone the frying, baking or grilling of footballers here in the ORFFA, we do condone the baking of spuds. Especially those fantasy football spuds who score abysmally and cost us our weekly match-up. They definitely deserve a good bake.

Venus Bay Vultures V Whitsunday Warriors
Larrikin Lagoon Lefties V Wineglass Bay Packers
Gariwerd Cockatoos V Charlies Opening Spelunkers
Gundagai Grasshoppers V Mount Beauty Uglies

Cradle Mountain Devils V Birdsville Battlers
Lovely Banks Lilacs V Nareewillock Nuffers
Iron Knob Codpieces V Nowhere Else Wanderers
Wagga Wagga Wombats V Marble Bar Misfits

    Round 9 Date Friday 17.05.2019 – AFL Round 9
    THEME: Left Footers Round
We all wear labels. And not just on our over-priced designer clothes. For left-footers, those labels are very real, and can vary from somewhat descriptive ("Hookfoot") to the semi-accurate ("Only has a right leg for balance"). But instead of deriding our left-footed friends, let's bask in their brilliance and sublime skills (at least, until one of them coughs up the ball in defence, then its every mollyduker for themselves).

Whitsunday Warriors V Larrikin Lagoon Lefties
Venus Bay Vultures V Gariwerd Cockatoos
Wineglass Bay Packers V Gundagai Grasshoppers
Charlies Opening Spelunkers V Foul Bay Chickens
Mount Beauty Uglies V Cradle Mountain Devils
Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles V Lovely Banks Lilacs
Birdsville Battlers V Iron Knob Codpieces
Nareewillock Nuffers V Wagga Wagga Wombats
Nowhere Else Wanderers V Marble Bar Misfits

    Round 10 Date Friday 24.05.2019 – AFL Round 10
    THEME: Fantasy Saviour Round
We all know the feeling. That feeling when some normally non-descript performer steps up with a Messiah-esque performance to propel your underperforming bunch of triers to something resembling brilliance. Of course - most of the time - this is something that happens for other teams, and usually occurs when you are playing those other teams. So let’s celebrate Fantasy Saviour Round with the hope that we all get a God-like performance from one of our chosen 15 this weekend.

Disclaimer: Hope for God-like performance only valid if your bunch of triers isn’t playing my bunch of triers.

Whitsunday Warriors V Nowhere Else Wanderers
Marble Bar Misfits V Nareewillock Nuffers
Wagga Wagga Wombats V Birdsville Battlers
Iron Knob Codpieces V Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles
Lovely Banks Lilacs V Mount Beauty Uglies
Cradle Mountain Devils V Charlies Opening Spelunkers
Foul Bay Chickens V Wineglass Bay Packers
Gundagai Grasshoppers V Venus Bay Vultures
Gariwerd Cockatoos V Larrikin Lagoon Lefties

    Round 11 Date Friday 31.05.2018 – AFL Round 11
    THEME: Muso Round
Each year the ORFFA's Muso Round sees the league celebrate the great Australian (and New Zealand) artists that populate our Spotify lists and sometimes even play their own musical instruments. So let's put on the headphones, drown out the background noise and annoy the person you are sitting next to on public transport by playing your favourite "local" musical artist until all of our ears bleed.

    Whitsunday Warriors V Gundagai Grasshoppers
Gariwerd Cockatoos V Foul Bay Chickens
Larrikin Lagoon Lefties V Cradle Mountain Devils
Venus Bay Vultures V Lovely Banks Lilacs
Wineglass Bay Packers V Iron Knob Codpieces
Charlies Opening Spelunkers V Wagga Wagga Wombats
Mount Beauty Uglies V Marble Bar Misfits
Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles V Nowhere Else Wanderers
    Birdsville Battlers V Nareewillock Nuffers

    Round 12 Date Thursday 27.06.2019 – AFL Round 15
    THEME: The Non-Themed Theme Round
There’s some memorable themed rounds set down in the 2019 ORFFA FIXture. This isn’t one of them. In fact this round has no theme, unless having no theme is actually a theme – if that is the case, then this is just another of those rounds with a theme and a suitably nonsensical introductory paragraph before the games are listed. We’re through the Looking Glass here, people.

Foul Bay Chickens V Whitsunday Warriors
Cradle Mountain Devils v Gundagai Grasshoppers
Lovely Banks Lilacs V Gariwerd Cockatoos
Iron Knob Codpieces V Larrikin Lagoon Lefties
Wagga Wagga Wombats V Venus Bay Vultures
Marble Bar Misfits v Wineglass Bay Packers
Nowhere Else Wanderers V Charlies Opening Spelunkers
Nareewillock Nuffers V Mount Beauty Uglies
    Birdsville Battlers V Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles

    Round 13 Date Friday 05.07.2019 – AFL Round 16
    THEME: NAIDOC Round
Each season the ORFFA stages NAIDOC Round to coincide with NAIDOC Week which, in 2019, is staged from July 7-14. NAIDOC Week helps us all celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. And the impact that Indigenous players continue to have in the AFL (and the ORFFA) is something most definitely worth celebrating.

Whitsunday Warriors V Cradle Mountain Devils
Foul Bay Chickens V Lovely Banks Lilacs
Gundagai Grasshoppers V Iron Knob Codpieces
Gariwerd Cockatoos V Wagga Wagga Wombats
Larrikin Lagoon Lefties V Marble Bar Misfits
Venus Bay Vultures V Nowhere Else Wanderers
Wineglass Bay Packers V Nareewillock Nuffers
Charlies Opening Spelunkers V Birdsville Battlers
Mount Beauty Uglies V Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles

    Round 14 Date Friday 12.07.2019 – AFL Round 17
    THEME: Late Withdrawal-Doughnut Round
If Allan Jeans thought footballers were sausages, then it is pretty clear what missing players are. Doughnuts. Lovely, round, doughy doughnuts. And no matter what sort of doughnut that missing player or late withdrawal may be – iced, jam, cinnamon or one of those fancy-schmancy custard filled treats that block important arteries – one thing’s for sure … chomping down on a doughnut in fantasy football carries with it a very bitter taste indeed. May this round bring with it no player doughnuts, but many iced doughnuts - preferably with sprinkles.

Lovely Banks Lilacs V Whitsunday Warriors
Iron Knob Codpieces V Cradle Mountain Devils
Wagga Wagga Wombats V Foul Bay Chickens
Marble Bar Misfits V Gundagai Grasshoppers
Nowhere Else Wanderers V Gariwerd Cockatoos
Nareewillock Nuffers V Larrikin Lagoon Lefties
Birdsville Battlers V Venus Bay Vultures
Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles V Wineglass Bay Packers
Mount Beauty Uglies V Charlies Opening Spelunkers

    Round 15 Date Friday 19.07.2019 – AFL Round 18
    THEME: Bad Hair Round
Extensive scientific studies have proven that there is correlation between a player's talent and success and the amount of derogatory comments made about any questionable hair-do they may be sporting. Look at Dustin Martin - we all love his hair now that he is a Brownlow Medallist. But whatever your hairstyle preferences, one thing's for sure - if you decide a man-bun is for you, then you may well be beyond help.

Whitsunday Warriors V Iron Knob Codpieces
Lovely Banks Lilacs V Wagga Wagga Wombats
Cradle Mountain Devils V Marble Bar Misfits
Foul Bay Chickens V Nowhere Else Wanderers
    Gundagai Grasshoppers V Nareewillock Nuffers
    Gariwerd Cockatoos V Birdsville Battlers
Larrikin Lagoon Lefties V Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles
Venus Bay Vultures V Mount Beauty Uglies
Wineglass Bay Packers V Charlies Opening Spelunkers

    Round 16 Date Friday 26.07.2019 – AFL Round 19
    THEME: Imports Round
Bíonn tionchar suntasach ag imreoirí ó thíortha eile ar ár gcluiche iontach de Rialacha na hAstráile. Ní hamháin go bhfuil lucht féachana cosúil le Tadhg Kennelly, Nic Naitanui agus Mason Cox go hiontach le faire, ach meabhraíonn dúinn cé go bhféadfaimis Rialacha na hAstráile a chluiche, is cinnte go bhfuil an cluiche domhanda anois.

Wagga Wagga Wombats V Whitsunday Warriors
Marble Bar Misfits V Iron Knob Codpieces
Nowhere Else Wanderers V Lovely Banks Lilacs
Nareewillock Nuffers V Cradle Mountain Devils
Birdsville Battlers V Foul Bay Chickens

Mount Beauty Uglies V Gariwerd Cockatoos
Charlies Opening Spelunkers V Larrikin Lagoon Lefties
Wineglass Bay Packers V Venus Bay Vultures

    Round 17 Date Friday 02.08.2019 – AFL Round 20
    THEME: Fellowship Round
Fellowship Round is a chance for all of us to gather together in the wide white virtual void that is the world wide web (not to be confused with Antarctica, as our white void is far warmer and has far fewer penguins), raise a glass of something to our fellow ORFFA coaches and celebrate the fact that our love for fantasy football brings our lovely band of misfits together each week. All past and present ORFFA coaches are invited to party in the virtual void, with or without penguins.

Whitsunday Warriors V Marble Bar Misfits
Wagga Wagga Wombats V Nowhere Else Wanderers
Iron Knob Codpieces V Nareewillock Nuffers
Lovely Banks Lilacs V Birdsville Battlers
Cradle Mountain Devils V Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles

I'd almost forgotten how good these entrees are. Home against the NY, NY guy in the Imports Round - scrumptious.

Well done Jen and friends. :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Evidently the powers that be decided the Battlers were no longer a good enough draw to maintain their position in the Seaby Cup. :(

EDIT - which is probably fair enough these days!

Great fixture, but yeah @JC can’t believe you lost out on playing in the Seaby Cup...unless you are still playing in it and I’m not (in which case, I am equally outraged)

Lol, all good mate. Maybe next year. But change can be good and I imagine the H2H record between us probably shows it hasn't been much of a 'contest' over the journey. I fluked a couple of wins in the finals, but you've generally beaten me pretty soundly - if I'm being kind. :)

Great stuff, when does the FA fixture get loaded onto TSLeagues ?

I am particularly keen to get my team loaded up early so that I have 1 less thing to remember in the busiest week of the SC year.
