So Greene is to be rested after 1 week, what a crock, sometimes I deplore my own stupidity. Why did I get seduced AGAIN this will not end well probably a recurring scenario. Out damn spot.!!

I did seriously consider bringing Greene in midround last week. Pre match on radio someone from GWS was talking about his preparation being limited and him taking several weeks to get near to his best form so i held off. I think players discounted for injury do have value but they need to have had a decent pre-season.

I too was sucked in by Greene, but only because I couldn't think of anyone else to pick in the forward line. I'm tempted to move him on to Worpel this week, anyone want to talk me out of it?

I think Dahlhaus would also be a good choice for a sideways trade, if you can afford it.

You always complain about the change you make that turn out for the worse but dropping Greene and not getting tempted to put him back in (I so was) was a good thing.

Unless you have too many spotfires already and R2 looks busy for correction trades, may just have to hold him if you got him, at least until you have more information from next round.

I'm going to hold Balta this week and see what other issues crop up (there's bound to be some new ones). Balta -> Parker before R3 will be a likely correction trade, depending on what else is revealed during R2.

I'm holding Balta for now too as there is no one screaming 'go early' for me. Saying that (and I'm usually averse to going early and trading rnd 2) I would absolutely go Balta to Parker this week if I didn't have him.

      Potential R3 Conundrum!!

Got Hately on the bench (loophole) and with Collins, Hore and Burgess in the potential correctional R3 crosshairs. May pull the trigger on Collins early (concussion ~ waiting tbc) to give myself a better look at best available pre R3.

Similarly, Atkins JS concerns me post Rd 2.

Geez one SuperCoach week is long

Interesting that Balta is still named as an emergency though.

Normally guys that get dropped because they sucked at AFL level in their first game don't even make the extended squad of emergencies the following week.

      NO SIDEWAY TRADES!!!
Ahh bugger it A.Brayshaw is on my SList. I reluctantly put him in my team over 2 midpricers as I didn't want to be too midpricey.
For the First time in 8 plus years of Supercoach I am sitting top 1% after the first round.
So I am very tempted to set up the best possible list as soon a possible before the real game starts in Moo'ing Season. Weeks 6-12

Now I am so tempted to revert back to the original option which is to bring in Worpel and Ballard for Brayshaw and Balta and pocket some cash, make bank about $100k.
Though I am very tempted to go against this and sure up the backline or mids and get either Lloyd via a swap or grab Bont, Coniglio or Neale. Favourite in that order.

I’m having similar thoughts on sideways trade which normally I never do. Finished with 2126 last week and only interested in the highest ranking, not leagues so will go hard on the trades. Annoyed with myself for switching boak to Mundy at the last minute and that cost a bit point wise. What do we think about sheed, is he too good to pass up at that price? Not sure I buy into the gaff argument as they both played jlt and he still scored really well. Luckily I think I’ve got the right rookies touch wood it’s only 1 week but with that in mind I’m thinking of Mundy to boak and libba to sheed.

      TU: Do it
TD: hold fire, it’s too sideways

Good luck to everyone in round 2
