Will deal with rookies corrections next week as planned.

Don't bring Ballard in, upgrade to Newman next week if he has another good one. You picked Brayshaw for a reason and if you're backing yourself because you know something about SC (which your current rank suggests) you should back him too. One game is the worst sample size available.

Was just about to post that too. Wth, he was ready to have forks stuck in him when he was traded, just the fact that he's ready for games now is a huge win for Hawthorn.

Looks like Riewoldt will miss weeks with a wrist injury, if Balta can't get back into the team for R3 he probably never will.

Feel like I need to get Rocky in.
Sideways is no good but neither is being stuck with wrong premiums for too long...
Am $4k short of Darling > Worpel and Libba > Rocky...

How will JJK back impact Darling’s scores?

I dont think Darling should be affected, JJK will stay closer to goals allowing JD to run free with the buffalo

I couldn't possibly talk you out of it considering I have already shown him the door.

My thoughts exactly - after all the negative talk about the Ruck scoring I'm happy I trusted Grundy with the VC!

What are your thoughts on Ballard v Newman. I’ve lost 3 backs (Ridley/Cunningham//Hore so I need to bring in 1 person and keep my fingers crossed that Collins passes his concussion test.
I’ve got enough cash to take Newman if required.
I was hoping to hold off till next week before making a call on Newman but now my hand has been forced.

Cunningham to Newman is an upgrade and would be my advice if you can afford it. Ballard is that awkward price where he has to improve a lot over last year's 11 games @45 ppg to be worth bringing in. 105 in Round 1 is encouraging but no guarantee.

Have you considered a downgrade to Wilkie or another named rookie Defender and banking the cash ?

I went thin in the backline with the intention that all would be upgraded as I’ve found that backs are rarely consistent in high scoring.
      So I’ve got B Smith/SCollins/Scrimshaw/JClark/Duursma/Hore/Cunningham/Ridley
I was just hoping that I could have a backline averaging 70 as I’ve loaded up in other areas. Cunningham looked good enough to hold his spot but a kidney injury is going to leave him out 4 weeks.
Newman is unlikely to get dropped and could be a consistent scorer.

I’ve got 179k in the bank. So could move Ridley or Cunningham for Newman.
Wilkie is pretty much a punt. Not sure how I will approach it.

For everyone with the Heeney Headache.

Horse flagged in post match that Heeney was carrying an ankle from last week so spent more time up forward. With 8 day break, he’s expecting him to perform better.

I think Heeney will be a slow burn, but I'm going to wait for him to arrive. I still think he will 1 of the better forward options. Patience.
