      Hey Crafty Yarni

i thought the golden rule of supercoach is never trade out a premium unless injured... My opinion is if you start with him you stick with him.. I wouldnt be chasing points at rd3..

You are right mate. If gaj reinjured the shoulder b4 r3, he is getting replaced.

His scores won't affect my decision.

He is the prime ball mover for his team and with jaeger this week, he will chase that ball like a cat after a mouse

I'd just like to take the opportunity to officially apologise in advance to Gaz . Can't remember the last time I didnt start with the little master. I know you are a frequent reader on TS, so ill be rolling out the red carpet for you R13. Hope you don't hold any grudges...

Mark Lecras as a POD over Dane Swan.... am I crazy? Averaged 90 inc an injury 19 last year.... thoughts?

Boomer Harvey is tempting as well, so many different options!

Not sure whetehr I will be runnign a midpriced midfielder or 2 underpriced premiums like Griffen/A Swallow

running the numbers Wells would be ahead of Rich, hopefully Wells can stay fit - how did he look pre-season??

      IMO Wells >> ?? >> ??? >> Rich

Swan has the higher ceiling no doubt about it even though Bucks may not set hime free, question is will Lecras stay on the park which is what you want from any POD

Personally not sold that swan will improve on last years effort. The frenchman will definitely be a POD, but I see no reason why he will do any better than last year, I'd think there is better value elsewhere.

I don't think Lecras needs to improve much really, take out his injury affected 19 and he averages 95.5... but yeah, Swan has higher ceiling. So many forwards I want to fit in there but just can't! Boomer Harvey as well hasn't been spoken about, seems to keep delivering and can have huge games that sets the SC team above the pack for the round.

I looked at my draft team form a few weeks ago as well as these percentages and had a few questions

Q1 - What do people think Newnes will average?? He was around 80 last year a massive jump from the year before. Is 80-85 acceptable given he is D/M and will he and/or Lumumba end up as better picks (based on their value not their average) than the higher priced options.

Q2 - Same question with Bontempelli. 2nd year players are often avoided even though some of the cream can be 90-100 scorers its normally hard top pick who. Although he may have had the vest in one of his early games he averaged around 80 first up. Will he be stuck in the 80s or will 90 plus and genuine F1-F5 status be a certainty. I am not sure whether Jack Martin is fit and firing but potentially he offers a more midpriced alternative and obviously has upside as well.

Q3 - Just about every RMT side on TS has Lonie but he is relatively unloved by the HS ownerships %s, assuming he is named on the 7 man bench on Thursday is he still a lock for F7/F8 behind Clark/Salem/Hogan or do we back a more popular player such as Lambert, someone else like Lamb or a random named for Rd1 who might end up clogging a spot at F8.

      Thoughts ??

Bontempelli has shown enough talent to indicate that his 2nd year form (2015) could rise by as much as Jackson Macrae's did during Jackson's 2nd year. Jackson went from 60s average (2013) to 90s average (2014).

He may get tagged some weeks but those that he doesn't can actually smash out 100+, hence average of 90 is feasible.

Lecras has only once managed to play 20 games in a season. So if you get him expect to have to trade him at some point, and expect to cop that 1 injury affected score.

Lonie is a small forward in a wooden spoon side personally I just can't have him, providing Lamb gets named he'll take my F8

      Waldo666
Also TTH I have both Newnes and Bonts and I am expecting at least a 90 average from both
