    Round 15 Date Friday 19.07.2019 – AFL Round 18
    THEME: Bad Hair Round
Extensive scientific studies have proven that there is correlation between a player's talent and success and the amount of derogatory comments made about any questionable hair-do they may be sporting. Look at Dustin Martin - we all love his hair now that he is a Brownlow Medallist. But whatever your hairstyle preferences, one thing's for sure - if you decide a man-bun is for you, then you may well be beyond help.

Don't mention it to chiefbet, but Waikick supporters are punting the lefties on the basis of the cows likely fielding an 11 man team.

Forgot to update my team... not that it would have changed much (if at all!)

Cradle Mountain Devils Round 15 team

Out: M Hurley (shoulder), H Himmelberg (omitted) D Zaharakis (omitted)
In: A Keath – new, T Lynch (Ade), D Heppell

    Defenders - D Rich, N Vlastuin, Z Jones, A Keath (D Thomas)
    Midfielders - S Pendlebury, D Zorko, J Hopper, J Steele (D Zaharakis)
    Rucks – T English (I Soldo)
    Forwards – R Marshall, T Lynch (Ade), J Gresham, L Breust (T Membrey)
    Int: D Heppell, J Redden

Three changes for the Devils top of the table clash with the Marble Bar Misfits with two automatic inclusions in forward Tom Lynch and midfielder Dyson Heppell returning from injury and mid-season draft selection Alex Keath making his club debut in defense, replacing Michael Hurley who is in doubt for the rest of the season due to a shoulder injury. Forward Harrison Himmelberg and midfielder David Zaharakis have been omitted from a Cradle Mountain side that is close to full strength.

I was thinking you still had time when you posted the first message saying you forgot.

@Len the travelling Misfits haven't lived up to their Misfires tag with the exception of Tom McCartin's 16 and are 1,131/13 = 87 ave compared to Cradle Mountain's 750/9 = 83.3 ave so it looks like it will be a very close game.

With two Misfits and six Devils still to take the field seven tons have been scored so far comprised of six for the Misfits - Lloyd (121), Whitfield (119), Mundy (117), Taranto (113), Brodie (110) and Williams (103), with Zorko (106) being Cradle Mountain's sole centurion so far.

The odds of a Marble Bar win with Chiefbet would now be far closer to the odds for correctly calling a coin toss than the odds of winning the lottery so I hope @Len hasn't discarded his lottery tickets.

The All Devils ruck duel between Rowan Marshall and Tim English in the final AFL game of the round between the Saints and Dogs is going to be pivotal to the outcome of the clash between the Misfits and the Devils for top spot on the ORFFA ladder with two home and away rounds remaining. In his past six games Marshall has been one of the form players of the ORFFA, exceeding 115 points in every game and his ruck opponent has usually scored well also.

Indeed the cows are down to 11 players this round versus the 14 lefties. Neither side setting the world alight.

As we head into Sunday's trio of fun games we have (roughly):
lefties - 414 plus Hardwick, O Allen, Clark, Brayshaw, Worpel, Lonie and T Cole
cows - 728 plus J McGovern, Hibberd and J Dunkley

I am picking it will be close, what with @That KI Guy on a roll after a win last week.

    Out to pasture amigo.
    Fyfe - injured
Howe, K Dunkley and B Williams dropped
We have been hanging on to the eight by the skin of our teeth hoping for the cavalry (Menegola, Burton, McVeigh, McLean) to ride over the hill.

PS - a late in (Howe for Birchall) might just tip things a little the cows' way.

Cows fall over the line, Lilacs and Battlers back on the winning train... meaning down to three teams for the last spot in the 8.

Chooks, Devils and Hopping insects post 1350+... things are ominous.

An example of the butterfly effect in action in the 'FA. That late in worked for you @graeme , and me, but unfortunately not for @anthak - especially after Hurn's late out had already activated Guthrie's score. A healthy Birchall may well have swung the result the other way in our game. No luck there for the Cockatoos at all.

Hey, yeah I noticed that. I was probably a bit too eager to give Birchall a run in our seniors anyway. Biut yeah, both Hurn and Birchall as late outs was too much to cover.

Well done though, good win. It keeps you well and truly in the hunt for a top8 position! Good luck

Thanks, Ant. As you say, still in the hunt for the 8 but I can't see my lot doing much more than making up the numbers.

Haze still well in the hunt with a couple of games to go. Jen was very happy to see Duncan back in form!

Karl Amon and Sam Lloyd have been pleasant surprises.
