The Holy Grail is up for grabs. Two very evenly matched teams on paper. Walpole Woylies host the Neptune Island Noahs
Noahs somewhat fortuitously able to field a full squad amid various ins and outs. A few hail mary bench selections... Def - Laird, Haynes, Aliir, Francis (Cumming) Mid - Ross, Gaff, Sidey, Hunter (Fisher) Ruck - Gawn Fwd - Billings, Lynch, HH, Cripps (Thomas) IC - Walla, Dawson (Greenwood) Best of luck @port_leschenault And to my boys...Go Boldly

Good luck Noahs and @That KI Guy. Backing most of the guys who did the job last week, just ROB coming back in (risking the 2-man ruck combo) at the expense of a shattered, but still valued, Weitering.
Reports are that Weitering is so shattered that he won't be running out for the Blues today. The drama is only just starting at Walpole.
Reports of Jacob being out all night drowning his sorrows have been greatly exaggerated. He is in fact unable to perform his duties as an emergency today due to the effects of Veisalgia. We request the local media (all one of them) please respect his privacy. 1/9 Games in: WAL 92/1 vs NIN 273/3 Solid scoring from Noah's Sydney players and Gawn going big. Oliver being one of the key top scorers for the Woylies was restricted to under 100 so first blood to the Noahs I think. edit: missed little Maxy
Wowsers, Noahs flying out of the gate. After the arvo matches (3/9): WPW 262/3 (87) v NIN 484/5 (97) Preliminary scores from Adelaide's rout not looking good for the Woylies either.
If my maths is right this is going to go down right to the wire. WPW 759/9 (84) vs NIN 800/10 (80) Lachie Whitfield, Elliot Yeo, Jarrod Witts, Jack Darling, Timothy English, Luke Breust vs 41pts + Andrew Gaff, Lachlan Hunter, Nick Haynes, Harrison Himmelberg, Jamie Cripps Woylies look like theyre ahead based on averages but way to close imo and me right now having to rely on my forwards/rucks not to choke this:
Yeah on the money with the calc there PL Very seesawing affair with the Noahs taking charge early. Roll into Sat night and the tables turned as North dismantled Port, Lynch and the Crows had a mare and Francis got a headache. Noahs relying on blue moons across the board and for Breust not to tear the Suns a new one. Not liking these long odds.
Yeah, evening game was bad for both of us which I think helped level it a bit, then in the first night game Ziebell had a monster score which helped the Woylies. Blakely with a shocker though so it makes it closer than could have. You're in the same position but I don't like relying on forwards, they can be so streaky and I don't think I'll officially catch your score until the last match with Witts/Breust so you will have a lead which means always a chance. Good luck
With Tim English another late out, young Woylie Oscar Allen is thrust suddenly into the heat of the Triple F decider in another twist to this epic matchup. That leaves Yeo, Darling and Allen currently on the park for the Woylies as they try to wrest back the lead against the Noahs Gaff and Jamie Cripps. The final 2 matches sees the 3 remaining players for each side slugging it out with every single point vital to deciding the final outcome and the destination of the 2019 title. @port_leschenault @That KI Guy
http://live.fanfooty.com.au/game/2019/7087-tigers-eagles.html pre-scaling it appears that scores are Woylies Yeo 141, Darling 74, Allen 65 to the Noahs Gaff 124 and Cripps 90 to put the Woylies unofficially 27 ahead 1039/12 vs 1014/12 with 3 players each remaining. The Noahs Triple H's (Hunter, Haynes and Himmelburg) will all need fire to set a challenging target for the home side to chase down via Whitfield, Witts and Breust. @port_leschenault @That KI Guy
Can't look at a spreadsheet to work it out atm but I think we are still ahead but Hunter n co making it so there going to need a decent score still from Witts/Breust.
Fark, think going into the last half of football needing to make up 40+ points on the Noahs. Cmon Bruest kick some goals like the seagull you are!
Reckon u might just have me here @port_leschenault I’m 15 points up with a quarter to go from Witts and Breust. Sheesh!
Yeah geez, my nerves would be so much calmer if bloody Breust did something this match. Witts does look like he should get us over the line, needed a big game from him and he's delivering.
