    PORT ADELAIDE v. GEELONG

Recent game: Round 6 2014 Adelaide Oval – Port Adelaide 107 defeated Geelong 67.

    Selwood v. Port Adelaide

    Rd 6 2014: 82 SC points, 17 disposals
    SF 2013: 129 SC points, 27 disposals
    Rd 20 2013: 160 SC points, 28 disposals

    Rd 14 2012: 149 SC points, 27 disposals
    Rd 3 2011: 134 SC points, 34 disposals

Average is 124 SC points with 25 disposals.

Note: Poor recent game against Port Adelaide with only 17 touches (although he operated at 94% disposal efficiency). He played against Cassisi in that game. Four of his past six scores, however, are over 125. His score in Round 9, 2013 was sub-effected; he was subbed off at three quarter time to have a rest after accumulating 18 touches at 89% disposal efficiency.

    Gray v. Geelong

    Rd 6 2014: 101 SC points, 20 disposals
    SF 2013: 74 SC points, 18 disposals
    Rd 20 2013: 85 SC points, 24 disposals
    Rd 9 2013: 106 SC points, 23 disposals
    Rd 3 2011: 72 SC points, 16 disposals

Average is 88 SC points with 20 disposals.

Note: Poor average against Geelong with only two scores over 100 (barely!) from five games. Spent a lot of the game last year playing against Harry Taylor.

    GOLD COAST v. FREMANTLE

    Fyfe v. Gold Coast

    Rd 7 2011: 148 SC points, 31 disposals

Average is 120 SC points with 30 disposals.

Note: Avoided the tag last year as Hutching was sent to tag Heppell. He has previously been tagged by Scott Selwood or Adam Selwood.

    Priddis v. Essendon

    Rd 21 2014: 111 SC points, 25 disposals
    Rd 20 2013: 116 SC points, 28 disposals

    Rd 7 2011: 92 SC points, 27 disposals

Average is 92 SC points with 24 disposals.

Note: Avoided the tag last year as Hocking was sent to mind Gaff. Injury affected score in 2012 when he was subbed off in the second quarter (after initially being tagged by Howlett). Taking that score out, his average jumps to 105 SC points with 28 disposals.

    NORTH MELBOURNE v. SYDNEY

    ST KILDA v. MELBOURNE

Recent game: Round 1 2014 Etihad Stadium – St Kilda 68 defeated Melbourne 51.

In my opinion despite the first bye round, the usual suspects are all playing and are still good options. It is hard to look past Fyfe with Fremantle looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season. Following Fyfe, I would pick Pendlebury, then Kennedy and then Selwood.

    Good luck all!

Thanks jasmine. I won't be going Kennedy again even for loophole, his past couple of scores have been terrible especially as you'd expect something good against Carlton and Gold Coast, just wondering if Tom Mitchell is eating into his points maybe.

For me I have two options
TU: Selwood (vc) into Fyfe or
      TD: Fyfe (vc) into Mumford

Collingwoods rucks usually leak a lot of points I've noticed. Good luck all

      OK, stupid question time.

If I put the C on a player with the bye, will that player be locked once Friday night's game starts?

I can't remember from previous years.

      Thanks

I don't think so as you can trade any of the bye players the whole way through the round which means they are not locked at the beginning of the round.

Tommy Bugg should go straight to Pendles, he is our best (only genuine) tagger.
Our defensive unit are pretty decent negators so Swan would be a question mark, if you have him I'd suggest Sidebottom.
If you have Ward and think pies will tag Griffen or Treloar I'd go him

Bellchambers is worse than a combo of Carlisle and Daniher, but I still don't see why they didn't put Giles in

Grundy's training injury should add weight to your decision

I'm wary of Wines' effect on Gray's scoring so far...

Congrats Bailey Dale on your first Captain's armband - I wonder how many will have a Bulldog as C with Fyfe as VC? It does seem like a too easy way to loophole.

Man, I had Fyfe as VC, but didn't have time to set up my loophole before my cap played, and it just happened to be Tom Mitchell (because he was my VC last week, so became Cap when I made Fyfe VC), who scored about half of Fyfe.
This is one of the first weeks all season that Fyfe has not been my cap.

I was listening to the radio when he kicked those 2 quick goals, and I was thinking he'd score big, but I didn't get time to check :(

That's two weeks in a row that I've stuffed the same thing up!
      Don't think I'm Too Serious anymore :(
