Black Swamp (Round 10) - subject to change if players are not named for their AFL club Wilkie O'Connor H Clark Clurey - Zaharakis Viney Duckwood Bont Higgins - Cutler Fox C Brown Farrell Hayward - C Jones Sinclair - no emg Daicos Mumford - Fogarty The 29ers travel to the badlands to face the Atoms @Brett Sanders At this stage there appear to be 4 changes with Clurey, Selwood, C Brown and Mumford (pending selection) replacing Hardwick, Jared Cameron, Fogarty and Cutler (maybe back in pending Mumford selection). Cameron was a late in replacing Banfield (who himself was a late in for Brown) last round and selection is certainly a fluid process over the AFL bye rounds. Several players - ie Hill, Young, Banfield, Cameron and Hardwick - are all unavailable due to a shortage of Australian Standard Hazmat suits in the True Value Hardware store in Port Augusta as we stopped off on the way to this weeks game. We dropped them off there to hitch-hike their way down to Port Lincoln where they will enjoy a short break before the remainder of the team arrives prior to catching the express jetboat ferry over to Neptune Island for our upcoming match away to the Noahs.
Maralinga Atoms go to 11/1006 @ 91.45 to the 29ers 14/1163 @ 82.86 but in unprecedented scenes, I have just realised that some how, some way, my team didnt save and im going in 2 players short whilst having completely unused back ups on the bench(face palm). Tomorrow sees Coniglio and Phil Davis try to overcome big Mummy AND a 157 point deficit which will be a huge task. We'll give it a go but..........
The Virgins are all out at the Vineyard - can they hold on? @YAD69 RGF 899/11/82 + Shiel, Parish, Langford & Draper ULV 1171/15/78
Interestingly only 1 of the 16 ORFFF clubs (Wedge Island) had a bye round score that was lower than their previous lowest round score, but for the purpose of the ORFFF all time records list Round 10 and any future bye rounds won't be counted for lowest scores, lowest winning scores and record margins lists. http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/orfff-all-time-match-and-team-records.89401/
I could only see Himmelburg to be added @Brett Sanders and he would have made it much closer but not changed the result. It is fair to say that the Atoms missing half a dozen regulars though the bye to the visitors with only Hardwick and (perhaps) Hill missing from their best 15 proved the difference, in any case a top 8 spot seems assured for the Atoms and the absence of a double chance in season 2020 means the result matters somewhat less in the scheme of things.
Yep, also Phil Davis was injured early so was basically useless meaning that my stuff up really had no bearing on the result, good win mate, well deserved!!
