Morning everyone, apologies in advance, but this might be a bit tedious

Ok vote time... the idea of this/these poll(s) is to eliminate ideas that are not going to get up, and focus on changes we would actually want to put forward to the coaches to vote on.

This first one is fairly easy... you can vote multiple times, but I want you to vote for ideas that you personally would like to see progressed through. Anything that does not get minimum 50% of the vote (9 votes) will be kicked to the curb... As per the participation terms and conditions...anything that does get up, will be put forward for another vote where we would need 66% of the coaches to endorse it before it becomes accepted.

Increase the number of mandatory delists at PSD
This is fairly self explanatory, if we increase the number of mandatory delists to more than the current four, then there will be more players available to select from at the start of the season. This would apply from next season

Introduce a number of mandatory delists at MSD

Again, fairly straight forward, introducing mandatory delists at MSD means that there are more players available in the mid season draft pool. This would apply from next season

    Reduce squad sizes

Reducing squad sizes would again put more players back into the available players. This could apply from the MSD

Reduce the number of ORFFA teams
Reducing the number of teams means that there will be 28 more players injected into the available players pool, and some of them would be higher end for the first draft. It also means fixtures would need to be reviewed, an odd number of teams would create a bye etc. This needs to be decided on before the MSD as @TheTassieHawk is stepping down, and before we appoint a new coach, we need to decide if we want to reduce the number of teams.

Introduce divisions with relegation and promotion between divisions (think English Football)
In this option ORFFA would split into two leagues... let's say First and Second Division. The bottom n number of clubs (to be determined) in the First division at the end of the home and away would be relegated to the Second division for the following season, and the same number of clubs that finish at the top of the Second division would be promoted to the First Division. This introduces a whole raft of considerations, the first of which would be, do the two divisions share players, or do they have separate play pools, and if the latter, what happens when a promoted club has the same player as a club already in the league? This would apply from next season

    Introduce a waiver style process
Waivers are the process by which coaches can select from the pool of available players who are not on a team's roster in the league. They may have been undrafted or dropped by owners. ... The team that puts a claim on a player - and who has the higher waiver priority number - will receive the player when waivers clear and the roster becomes available again. Note: I am not sure if this is in fact doable yet, as Walesy will need to code something, but only worth getting him to look at it if we decide want it ya now what I mean. This would apply from next season, on the presumption it can actually be automated
