Heard Island Shags Round 3 I found it really difficult to select my team this week. I have ended up with a lot of similar type players on each line, and I’ve had to leave a lot of good men out of the side. Two players who scored a tonne last week couldn’t even get a go as an emergency this week! And I couldn’t find room in my 15 for Brayden Maynard and Patty Ryder who are now available for selection. Nat Fyfe has been named on the interchange, but we expect he’ll be a late out. I also have some concerns over Chad Wingard lining up in the midfield without an emergency, but I need my emergencies on other lines. However this lineup is subject to change if lockout is extended beyond the Eagles’ team being announced. At the moment there’s a bit of guesswork. Unfortunately Willie Rioli has just entered the H&S protocols, so we’ve shuffled our lineup already… Rioli is Out. Wingard moves to the forward line. Ellis moves onfield into the midfield. Maynard is now named to play his first game of the season, starting on the interchange. One of last weeks centurions, Aidan Corr is now an emergency for the back line.

I assume apart from the Freo coach they haven’t been fully hit by COVID yet and the delay for them (as with NM last week) is so that West Coast don’t get an early look at their opponent’s team.
do we have any update, as i have a number of players from both sides and am heading to the footy tonight. If other games are locked, it may mean we have players out of position if we cant swap etc depending who actually plays in the derby.
