I was looking forward to holding another rave party down in the cave, but will be very happy with Hilltop Hoods. Kane Lambert is a big fan and he is pleading with us to select him this week for his first game of the year so that he can see them live in action before the first bounce.
Im fairly sure Darcy and Jackson are both out this week. Hopefully you have another ruckman to fill the void
Here’s the Gariwerd team to travel down the pit. We’ve granted Kane his wish so that he can watch Hilltop Hoods
Fresh off the back of headlining New Shoots festival on Kangaroo Island, Something for Kate will travel to the Devils Den and rock the pre game. Lefties with a few ins and outs but on verge of fielding a full team incl emergencies! Def - Perryman, Hardwick, SPS, Markov (Reid) Mid - Worpel, Anderson, Simpkin, Berry (McDonald) Ruck - Hayes Fwd - Ladhams, SPP, Thomas, Brodie (Baldwin) IC - Georgiades, Cockatoo
Updated team to take on the Cockies @anthak Season debut for Sydney Stack, with James Madden and Nick Bryan making their way onto the emergencies list.
Tonight's game, just one cow: Welcome back Gov After 10 years of fabulous performances Paul Kelly has asked not to be invited as he continues to mourn Shane Warne. We respect his wishes and look forward to next year's set. At great expense the cows are bringing Kraftwerk to Birdsville. Ralf and Florian are excited to experience the real Australia and to indulge their hitherto unreported adoration of the afl (and particularly the cows). Not sure what the locals will make of their show ..
Cradle Mountain Devils Round 7 team: Out: R Marshall (quad) In: J Lever Def: D Rich, N Vlastuin, D Heppell, J Bowey (T Duryea) Mid: J Steele, S Pendlebury, D Zorko, J Gresham (B Cook) Ruc: T Nankervis Fwd: A Naughton, H Morrison, T Membrey, L Breust (J Gunston) Int: J Redden, J Lever (B Brown) Excellent choice @That KI Guy on organising Something for Kate for the pre-game concert before the Devils - Lefties clash at the Devil's Den.
I am guessing that's because the first game was also the Friday night game and all interchange benches had been named? Is that how it works @Bandit ?
Standard rounds usually lock at the first game. We’ve only usually had rolling lockouts if there’s games before friday or if AFL teams haven’t been announced for the later games here’s the rule:
By my very rough calculations the cows are having a hard time against the battlers, trailing 12/974 to 11/834. For the home team Bailey Smith, Budarick, and Rowbottom yet to play. For the visitors Dunkley, Bailey, Coleman, and Papley to try to pull back a 140 point margin. Nice looking team you have put together @JC - you were right to turn down my attempts to trade for a couple of players,
Thanks, @graeme . Away for the weekend with the family so just checking up on things now. Not sure if I snuck over the line in the end but I think it might be close!
