Assume no rolling lockouts with a normal round for once?

Mole Creek trailing 10/1127 (112.7) to @Bearfly Wedge Islands 13/1175 (90.4) but with a couple of games in hand the glow worms feel confident they can bring this home and with the defence averaging 126 and midfield 133 they are looking to end with a pretty significant score.

    Remaining

Mole Creek: Pendlebury, McCluggage, Ridley*(ruck), Heeney, McCarthy

Wedge Island: Marcus Adams, Taylor Adams

I haven’t added up the scores but I saw that your remaining players did quite well, so I think you’ve won comfortably in the end, Yad

    The Virgin's finish on 1,266/15 84.4 to the Shags @anthak on 1,125/15 75.0

On the back of a big score from Captain Neale the home side looks to have sneaked in another win.

Just looking at the scores now, I only had one player score over 86. Very average team effort

The 29ers 100th match celebrations in Round 7 of season 2022 turned into disarray as the Noahs spoiled the party with a competition record 525 point smashing, one bright spot in the annihilation (and club record low score) was the impressive AFL debut of 29ers youngster Jack Carroll.

Elsewhere Mole Creek overcame an out of position ruck to post the 7th highest ORFFF score of all time in their thumping of Wedge Island. They now boast 4 of the top 10 all time scores with all 4 (and 1500 plus efforts in Rd 14 and the Qualifying Final) having been achieved in their last 13 matches.

Other winners were Rutherglen, Maralinga, Useless Loop, Jan Juc, Mt thirsty and Cockburn.

A 2 game gap has opened up between 6th position (Useless Loop) and the next 7 teams who are tightly packed however Walpole and Jan Juc now sit inside the top 8 and if history is a guide will prove difficult to dislodge over the remaining rounds of the regular season.
ORFFF Round 8 commences on Friday.
