Interesting round incoming! We kick off with the top of the table clash between Mole Creek and Useless Loop, with the worms looking to kick off into clean air at the top while the Virgins will be looking to stay ahead of the hunting pack below and knock off the champs heading into the midseason.

    Mole Creek Glow-Worms (UOC) (9-1)
    vs Useless Loop Virgins (8-2)

Then we have a series of matches that look like they will shape the playoff race come the second half of the season. A loss here for the teams on 3 and 4 wins to rivals with similar records feels like it would create a heck of a climb for the rest of the season if looking to play finals.

Black Swamp 29ers (4-6) vs Jan Juc Ducks (4-6)
Macquarie Island Whales (4-6) vs Wedge Island White Pointers (5-5)
Cockburn Avengers (3-7) vs Walpole Woylies (4-6)

Four top eight teams looking to solidify their playoff credentials, a win here and their case is strengthened and they have the bonus of weakening a direct rival. Wins to the lower placed teams would make things even messier in that midtable scrum.

Rutherglen Fugitives (7-3) vs Heard Island Shags (5-5)
    Nangkita Bucks
    (7-3) vs Maralinga Atoms (6-4)

Tough draw for the Power and Dropbears, who will have an uphill battle this week against a couple of finals contenders, but going into the midseason break do we see one of the favourites just lift the foot a little and get a surprise?

Mt Thirsty Boozers (5-5) vs Port Lincoln Power (0-10)
Neptune Island Noahs (7-3) vs Drouin Dropbears (2-8)

That is interesting. Thanks for splitting it up like that.

But gonna be a tough week for Heard Island, and I think we could’ve been placed in the last section too haha

Wins/losses aside, Heard Island have scored 23 points more than their opponents over the opening 10 rounds, I support @James84 classifying that one as a true 50/50

Black Swamp appear to have held off the fast finishing Ducks to record an unexpected victory.

If so the expected midseason pick 2 or 3 eyeballed at the beginning of May could have blown out to pick 5 to 7 due to 3 consecutive wins from rounds 9 to 11.

Wins by Mole Creek, Neptune Island, Maralinga, Wedge Island and Heard Island saw them cement their spots in the ORFFF top 8 at the midseason break, with the Boozers also victorious and sitting 9th (narrowly behind on points scored).

Meanwhile the Woylies remain outside the 8 despite an awesome display against the Avengers (recording their equal second highest ORFFF score) and the 29ers surged into 11th with a 3rd consecutive win, cutting their making the playoffs odds from 100-1 to 500-1.

The 12th placed Ducks have reached 6 ORFFF finals series in succession (the only team to do so) and now must win their last 4 games to keep their streak alive, while the Power have now lost 13 straight (outright 2nd in competition history).

Happy trading and drafting, or just enjoy taking a well earned break before we recommence for the business end of the season !

Rub it in! 2022 the year of the larger squads and compromised MSD sounds about my luck! I didn't think I was actually running that badly this year apart from the obvious Grundy out, want to say I can win the last 4 but there's a couple of tough matches in there.

Also whats the deal with the Glow Worms, literally 1300 points or a whole week out front on top is mighty impressive!
