Thanks for the previews. We are heavy underdogs this game, as would be any team against yours, but especially so coming from 7th position into the prelims. But of course we hope to cause a mighty upset and sneak into the grand final… we can dream haha

Exciting game so far in Mole Creek Mole Creek Glow-Worms 849/10/84.9 Heard Island Shags 761/8/95.1 It is still anyone’s game!
Update Bucks 811/12 (67) vs Noahs 1161/12 (96) Bucks unfortunately copped a big whack with the shit stick across all lines.
We’re into the final quarter at Mole Creek and it’s still anyone’s game Mole Creek Glow-Worms 1242/14/88.7 - only Rory Laird to play (but looks like he might score 200 on his own!) Heard Island Shags 1111/12/92.6 - NicNat + Tex Walker + Willie Rioli to play
I’m thinking Laird will do enough to hold off the Shags. For the Shags to win, NicNat, Tex & Rioli need to collectively score 132 more points than Laird. Laird is on track to score ~170! NicNat is doing great and should tonne up, and Rioli is doing ok, but Tex Walker will be luck to crack 50 the way he’s going this game. So I don’t think they’ve got it in them to keep up with Laird
I think the Shags have fallen about 45 points short. Well done @James84 ! Your team had a down week this weekend which gave us a sniff, but you’re still too good in the end. Definitely a deserving winner!
Yeesh, if I've won that's bloody lucky. Another poor week from my boys and the mouthguards will be out at training or any of the other cliches! Good season @anthak
Turned out to be only 28 point margin And it shows how good your team is when you score 1387 on a down week
The 2022 ORFFF Prelims saw the 2 home sides taste victory in contrasting fashions. The Glow-Worms once again conjured a narrow win, largely due to the late brilliance of Rory Laird, who not only posted a mammoth score but did so whilst dropping back to play a loose man in defence whilst also intercepting delivery and supply to the Shags spearhead, and former Glow-Worm, Tex Walker. The relieved Tassie side have qualified for their 2nd consecutive Grand Final. The Noahs dominated the other prelim with their August experience allowing them to limit the Bucks scoring and qualify for their 5th Grand Final. Congrats to the Grand Finalists @James84 @That KI Guy and commiserations to the Bucks @Dale Duivesteyn and Shags @anthak who both performed incredibly well this season.
