ORRFA Round 8 Review - Late withdrawal/Unexpected doughnut Round
It’s something – not sure if you’d call it a review though. There are words, some mine and some not, and they’re vaguely about what happened in the weekend’s games.

Waikickamoocow Incorrigibles 1263 def Wineglass Bay Packers 1130
In the Bulls Hit tavern they cheered,
    As the Incorrigibles neared.
    Against Wineglass Bay,
    In a fierce football fray,
    Their victory song, boldly revered!

Marble Bar Misfits 1251 def Larrikin Lagoon Lefties 1123
There once was a team full of Misfits,
Their skills on the field, an exhibit.
    Against the Lefties they played,
    And left them dismayed,
    Victory, indeed, they clinched it!

Gariwerd Cockatoos 1170 def by Nareewillock Nuffers 1184
The Cockatoos fought with great might,
But the Nuffers, they soared to the height.
Though the game was quite close,
    It was Nuffers who rose,
Victory was theirs by a slight!

Lovely Banks Lilacs 1191 def by Birdsville Battlers 1433
The Lilacs put up quite a fight,
But the Battlers were shining bright.
    With goals to the fore,
    The fans cheered for more,
In Birdsville, they celebrated all night!

Venus Bay Vultures 1331 def Mount Beauty Uglies 1255
There once was a team from Venus Bay,
Whose Vultures were primed for the fray.
    Against Mount Beauty's might,
    They soared to great heights,
And with victory, they carried the day!

Wagga Wagga Wombats 1258 def by Gundagai Grasshoppers 1516
In Wagga Wagga, the Wombats did strive,
But the Grasshoppers, they came alive.
Snoz, their coach, led the way,
    And left Lenny to pray,
At victory, the Hoppers did arrive!

Cradle Mountain Devils 1461 def Iron Knob Codpieces 1236
In Cradle Mountain, the Devils did thrive,
Against the Codpieces, who really did try.
    With kicks sharp and strong,
The Devils were fierce all day long,
And in the end, they kicked them in the knob!

Charlies Opening Spelunkers 1344 def Dunsborough Dung Beetles 978
In the match, these Spelunkers showed no fear,
Their victory was oh so clear!
    The Dung Beetles did fight,
But they fell in the night,
Get stuffed, Bandit, rang out the cheer!

    I'll see myself out.....

Bit like Erik Ten Hag's game style, different but entertaining if you are not a United fan :p

    Love the poetry!!!

Cannot imagine how anyone could support those mongrels irrespective of their manager. Though it was a pleasing result for the battlers from the Bridge :D

    Yeah, get stuffed Bandit!

DungBeetles with a sub 1000 score. The ghosts of seasons past are starting to visit.

Time to have a wee squander through the Free Agency list.
