Bad week for boozers. After having all listed players play a couple of weeks ago, we have lost both McGoverns, Howe and miller all in one week.

    @Dale Duivesteyn
Noah Anderson put in a great performance on the weekend against his old side! And I was there to watch it in person this week which was nice.
But apart from him, the Shags didn’t put up much of a fight! 12 of my 15 players scored 70 or less! Not good!

With the first 15 rounds completed and 2 more rounds to play the season high/low stats in the all time records thread has been updated to compare season 2024 similarly to previous 15 round seasons, refer http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/orfff-all-time-match-and-team-records.89401/

Congrats to the Noahs and Boozers who notched their highest ever (15 round) season aggregates, despite the 5 bye rounds making scoring hard through the first half of the season, with Neptune Island joining Mole Creek as the only sides to average 1400 points per game or more over that duration, while Mt Thirsty managed the 3rd highest tally of all time.

At the other end of the scale the Atoms, Fugs, Shags and Ducks have all scored their lowest ever 15 round aggregates, with only Rutherglen's total being close enough for the bye effects to cop most of the blame.

Lower scoring was seen across the board which was reflected in 7 teams registering their lowest ever points against (15 round) aggregate. The Noahs incredible 16743 against was over 400 points lower than the previous record of 17146 by Port Lincoln in the earlier bye affected campaign of 2020. Bucking the lower scores against trend were the Fugs and 29ers - who conceded 18961 and 18677 respectively - with the latter side actually recording their highest ever points against tally by a handful of points.

ORFFF Round 15 Review: A Rollercoaster of a weekend across the 8 matchups, thanks to ChatGPT

Welcome back, fellow ORFFF enthusiasts, to another wild round of fantasy football that left us scratching our heads and laughing out loud. Strap in as we dissect the chaos from this week's matchups!

Mt Thirsty Boozers (1393) vs The Stony Ponys (1316)
In a battle that saw more twists than a soap opera, the Boozers managed to hold off the Ponys by a mere 77 points. The Ponys tried to gallop their way to victory, but it seems the Boozers were simply too hydrated to lose this one.

Macquarie Island Whales (1109) vs Port Lincoln Power (1108)
Talk about a nail-biter! The Whales just edged past the Power by a whisker-thin margin of 1 point. Power outage or just bad luck? Likely the former as the Power went in with 14, despite 22 of their list playing. Either way, the Whales are swimming happily with this narrow win.

Walpole Woylies (1230) vs Jan Juc Ducks (915)
The Woylies hopped their way to victory over the Ducks with a comfortable lead. Looks like the Ducks got stuck in the pond this time, while the Woylies took flight to secure those crucial fantasy points.

Neptune Island Noahs (1360) vs Drouin Dropbears (1088)
Noahs made quite the splash this week against the Dropbears, dominating with a hefty 272-point difference. Looks like the Dropbears dropped the ball on this one, while the Noahs cruised to a commanding victory.

Rutherglen Fugitives (1245) vs Sherwood Magpies (1244)
Oh boy, talk about heart-stopping drama! The Fugitives narrowly escaped the Magpies by just 1 point. It seems every point counts, and the Fugitives barely clung to victory in this thriller of a matchup.

Nangkita Bucks (1223) vs Heard Island Shags (974)
The Bucks showed no mercy against the Shags, outclassing them by a whopping 249 points. Looks like the Shags were left shaking their feathers while the Bucks ran rampant with their fantasy points.

Useless Loop Virgins (1448) vs Maralinga Atoms (1212)
The Virgins exploded onto the scene with a massive 236-point victory over the Atoms. It seems like the Atoms underwent a nuclear meltdown while the Virgins soared to an impressive win.

Wedge Island White Pointers (1249) vs Black Swamp 29ers (1331)
In a clash that saw the scoreboard light up like a pinball machine, the 29ers narrowly defeated the White Pointers by 82 points. Looks like the Pointers missed their mark while the 29ers danced their way to victory.

There you have it, folks! Another round of ORFFF action filled with suspense, surprises, and plenty of laughs.

Stay tuned for more fantasy football madness over the final fortnight of ORFFF home and away action.

The 3 longest streaks continue (still) with the Noahs registering their 13th straight W - equal 3rd best all time - while the Ducks and Shags tallied their 12th and 11th consecutive losses - good/bad enough for equal 3rd and 6th all time.

The finals race has now ended for the Magpies and Power are tough 1 point losses, with 7th-9th place all 8-7 and the Bucks lurking a game behind with 2 games to play.
