Opening this now. Please place all 2025 discussions here.

I've created a 2025 PS Draft and PS Trades thread, see those for draft and trade information.

Please come back here sometime in January to check on dates for starting the 2025 season.
Hope to see you all back here next year.
In the meantime, have a great off-season!

It appears as though Pick 13 in the AFL is key to a lot of trades being completed.
    I hold ORFFU Pick 13.
I'm happy to trade it, if doing so helps facilitate a lot of other trades!

I hope you are able to get a good result for #13 but before you do that, and looking at posts in the Rule Change thread, maybe we need to sort out if there are going to be any changes to list management prior to the 2026 season. At this stage no one has traded their 2026 PSD Pick, so we have some time available.

Agreed. Giving coaches some time to have their say.
Or I can just be an angry dictator and implement my own ideas without consultation, and make any dissenters mysteriously disappear.

Would be nice to have things sorted by the time the updated player positions for 2025 come out. That's when I can start thinking about trades.

Well, as a fan who has to work on Friday, and a member of the fantasy football community, I'm more than somewhat upset by this.

"AFL boss Andrew Dillon declared a “strong desire” for Thursday night football moved the league to act with a massive 23 games scheduled for the fan-favourite timeslot as part of a major shift in the first year of the league’s new $4.5bn TV deal.
After premiers the Brisbane Lions open the season against Geelong at the Gabba on Thursday, March 6, there will be only two weeks in the regular season where matches won’t be played on Thursday night."

Get used to a partial then full lockout next year gentlemen.

Yep, agree. I love watching footy from Thurs to Sunday, but makes a fantasy nut's life a little bit harder!

I hate it. Makes it so much harder to abstain from a cheeky ale
