2025 PSD - Friday Feb 14th 9pm AEDT till completed

2024 Post PSD Trade Period - to Tuesday 4 March 9pm AEDT

The mid season bye rounds actually go over 5 rounds this year meaning a decision needs to be made on how to treat the season and finals. excluding Opening Round we have 24 rounds, which take out 5 for byes this only leaves 19 rounds. If each team plays once we have 2 rounds left for finals. MSD will start some point prior to Round 16 starting.

The site will be updated after the SC platform opens to allow us access to updated player lists.

Draft rules will be released before the draft, I expect them to stay the same as last year but the incumbent @Len may have his own ideas , team lists need to be reduced to 20 (maximum) with the draft taking each team to 26 players.

Note we still have a few coaches that are AWOL, please reach out to any that you might know outside of this site. We are go in less than 3 weeks!

 

Hey all I’m back and keen to continue.
Having some issues in accessing the website on my phone it keeps informing me that my ip is blocked but I’ve got around and in now.

 

thanks @stripey I think we should play round 13 when only 2 teams have been so least disruption. then we have 3 round for finals

I wonder if I could get clarification about 2025 SSP players. I understand the SSP starts on February 3. However, some clubs have already committed and contracted with players. For example, (a) Fremantle signed Quinton Narkle on November 25 2024; (b) St Kilda signed Harry Boyd on January 20 2025. I note that both these players are available for selection in SC. There may have been other signings I have missed.

I agree with not waiting for the SSP to finish before we start drafting. Would it be possible to make players who are picked up in the SSP before a cut-off date - e.g., 2 February 2025 - available for our PSD? I am conscious of the sheer volume of work @Len undertakes and do not want to add an unnecessary extra burden.

 

The player upload should happen on this site prior to our draft taking place. It is actually taken from the SuperCoach site so I would be happy to include any players that have been drafted and included on the SC player list at that time.

if upload hasn’t happened on this site by then the cut off would be SSP’s picked up to the ORFFL delisting date.

One week to delistings! If not done by Sunday night, auto deists will happen based on lowest average.

 

are you going to start a new thread for this years delists, or do i just post them in the 2024 one?

 

The Albert Park possums have done a trade with the Queenstown quails
The possums have acquired Jacob hopper for our second round pick and a swap of 5th Rd picks

Do I delist one less player if I have one less pick? Or do I just top up with free agents after the draft?

 

Delist all you need but at least get down to 20. additional rounds of draft picks will be added for those who have more than 6 picks.
