yep got it, and understood. honestly, i am thinking pick trading doesn't have a place in this comp. it is supposed to be a simple comp and pick trading goes against its ethos. i have updated the rules based on live picks in the case of trading picks for now, but am leaning towards killing this off....
yeh i have thought about it, and am making an exec call to kill it....trading of draft picks is no longer permitted. rules updated
all, i have been toying with the fixture and scheduling, given the AFL have gone bonkers with bye rounds this season, to try to find something that works. the challenge is there are 10 teams and 18 home and away games, keeping in mind both the OR and R24 are out. the bye rounds with 4 teams missing are 3, 12, 14, 15 & 16, and the bye rounds with 2 teams missing are 2, 4 & 13. this is a total of 8 bye rounds. the options i am toying with are: skipping all the 4 team bye rounds, abandoning the finals (so a first past the post after H&A [English Premier League] style approach), and no concessional top ups from the pool for the 2 team bye rounds - this format starts R1 and has us playing 18 H&A only skipping the first 2 rounds and playing 18 H&A games + 3 rounds of finals (same as usual) and play through all bye rounds with the same concession (1 player top up during all bye rounds) as last year - this format starts R3 and has us playing 18 H&A + finals i have put a table together for each format showing the schedule. Option 1. Option 2. - where * = top up round these 2 options are the easiest to administer, so i am opening it up to coaches on this occasion. if the league has a preference pls let me know ASAP. thumbs up for Option 1 and thumbs down for Option 2 - note i am leaning toward option 1 at this stage @snoz @Len @That KI Guy @graeme @choppers @Tylo @stripey @DamoH @dmandrews
