Live trade alert ! Black Swamp have agreed to send 2025 PSD#13 and the 29ers 2026 (future) 1st round pick to Sherwood in exchange for 2025 PSD#6 and the Magpies 2026 (future) 4th round pick. This puts the 29ers into the current pick on the clock.
Live Trade Alert Rutherglen Fugitives have agreed to send Joel Freijah and PSD pick 36 to Sherwood Magpies in exchange for PSD 2026 future first round pick and PSD 2026 future second round pick. These trades once confirmed will put Sherwood Magpies on the clock for #36 selection.
^^ If the Fugs are moving Freijah out they need to be receiving a 2025 PSD pick not sending one the other way. Or the Fugs can send out the 2025 PSD pick and receive 2 * 2025 PSD picks in return. Otherwise, the Fugs have 28 list spots and the Magpies have 32. @Vicwood @tyze1 List spots aspect of the trade would work if the Magpies send picks #86 and #102 back to the Fugs in addition to the futures picks, which really has no effect on the value exchange agreed above, but does on the coaches strategies for the remainder of this draft. The trade can be renegotiated, noting the 6 hour limit to agree a trade from the time that pick 36 became the current pick runs out in the next 15 minutes or so. As the commish I will use my discretion given the "in good faith" principle to extend the 6 hour rule by another 2 hours (537pm Melbourne time) while the deal gets reviewed by both clubs or the Magpies agree to the revised deal and take pick #36 within the next 3 or so hours (637pm Melbourne time).
