Boozers need to cut a few more to meet the 24 deadline.

Boak who averaged 80 last year could help fill someone's mid line - available for any method of pick upgrade

Howe who scored 144, 78, 116 and 77 in his last 4 games last year, also available for a slightly better pick upgrade for those in contentions and needing a one year defender

    In draft trading clarification

I have amended rule 4 (l) very slightly to emphasise the spirit of in draft trading is to allow live trading of draft picks, and player trading can assist this in happening but not to the extent that a coach bypasses the draft and trades out of the draft altogether.
    http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/orfff-rules.89340/

Answering Leematty's 2 queries earlier in this thread
Q - does it have to be like for like, 1 pick for 1 pick, or can it be lopsided?
A - It can be lopsided, but as already previously defined in the rule 4 (l) current assets (defined as players and 2025 PSD selections) must be equal - at it's discretion the board is regulating a maximum of 2 current assets on either side and only 1 player (total) can be involved in an in-draft trade

Q - Could I trade all 6 of my picks for players and theoretically not even have a pick in the draft.
A - For the 2025 PSD the Board at it's discretion is requiring that teams must take 4 or more Free Agents as selections in the draft. That way all teams are participating in the draft in a substantial manner. This will unofficially and affectionately be known as the LeeMatty1 rule recognising we hadn't considered restrictions until we were asked on Wednesday.

Some draft 2025 PSD in-draft trading guidlines are as follows and will be copied over to the draft thread once created.

1 - Eligible live trades are where the exchange has a matching number of current assets - either 1 or 2 - exchanged, with a maximum of 1 player being exchanged between the 2 sides in a single trade. Future draft pick/s (2025 MSD and 2026 PSD) and pick swaps can be involved in any trade.

For example there are 4 deal structures which are compliant
    * single pick each - exchange of one current (2025 PSD) pick each, with exchange of 2026 PSD pick/s
(if the trade does not include 2026 PSD picks or pick swaps the trade is considered as unbalanced as the picks exchanged in the current draft have different values)
    * two picks each - exchange of two current (2025 PSD) picks each, with or without exchange of 2026 PSD picks
    * 1 player exchanged for one current (2025 PSD) pick, with or without exchange of 2026 PSD picks
    * 1 player and one current (2025 PSD) pick for two current (2025 PSD) picks, with or without exchange of 2026 PSD picks

2 - Teams must use at least 4 draft selections and have 4 newly drafted players in their final 30 players as at the end of the 2025 PSD (aka the Lee Matty rule).

3 - as per rule 4 (l) the Board will apply any other restrictions required to ensure the that in-draft trading and the draft itself run as smoothly as possible..

The Triple F draft is now live and Ashcroft & Lalor are off the board.

If you have a pick in the range 9-12 or 14-17 the 29ers will be interested in trade talks as we hold pick 13 and may look to trade up or down

Similarly we are interested in outright player for pick 13 offers for someone born 1996 or later averaging 90 to add depth to our midfield stocks, with pick swap/s as needed to balance things out.

Hit me up via text or pm if you are keen to discuss, but it is completely understandable if you wish to stick to your picks and swing away.

    Cheers.

The 29ers are still looking for a surplus midfielder from team/s looking to get back into the draft or to gain another pick in the next half dozen selections.

Ideally we are seeking a 60 plus average youngster entering their 3rd or 4th season or a 75 plus average older player (born 1997 or later).

We are offering either 2025 Pick 50 or 56 and a possible (2026 futures) upgrade depending on the quality of the player traded in.

pm's can be sent to me up to the time that WPW (or JJD) and MIW have taken their upcoming selections and pick #48 is on the clock

I guess also for the sake of it, happy to look at offers for Ed Richards and Will Powell for an upcoming pick plus a 2026 R1 pick - would need to be real tempting though.

As mentioned in the second paragraph of the OP in the draft thread.

Any live trade must be made within 6 hours so given 10:27pm plus 6 hours of the clock stopped = 10:27am(Melb time), ie 12 minutes from now

The coach trading into the pick then has until the original 9 hours elapse ie 01.27pm (Melb time) to select

For emphasis these are all the maximum times, and we hope/expect people are lining up trades before their pick occurs and a live trade should generally be made within 1-2 hours of the pick coming up wherever possible.

Otherwise since weekends are slower going we seriously risk not finishing the draft by Sunday night and most deals from this point can be done either at your next pick (#73) or post draft if they really need to happen.

With @anthak now on deck for the 101st and final pick on the draft I am scheduling the reopening of the preseason ORFFF trade window from the commencement of the GWS vs Collingwood match at 310pm Melbourne time today, or when Anthak takes the pick, whichever is earlier.

The trade window runs until 10pm Melbourne time on Tuesday 11th March and all exchanges of players must be equal and eligible draft picks can now include the 2025 MSD and 2026 PSD and 2026 MSD selections.

    Black Swamp 29ers
    • All 2025 MSD picks,

The 29ers have a young list and within reason will listen for offers of players born 1996 or later from rebuilding or undecided teams in exchange for players ranked 22-30 on my list..

We are also always keen to look at pick swaps including 2026 PSD picks (as above)

    List as at 9/3/25
    - http://tooserious.net/forum/stats.php?&sort=ave&desc=desc&year=2025&round=0&comp=SC&name=&up_code=&tsLeagueTeamId=58

Players most easily traded are those shown in yellow, once the window re-opens please contact me via pm

If anyone is looking for a forward, I’ve got too many and I’m happy to agree to a fair trade. I’m only really looking for players born this century, any position other than forward.
