With a million late outs this week for me, can we please get an explanation of why we can’t have an emergency on each line still? Frustrating when you have playing players, but aren’t able to put an emergency on each line.
@leematty1, are you requesting a rule change to 15 plus 5 emergencies? If so, can you provide an example of how this will be of benefit in general? I would observe that 4 emergencies doesn't stop the Boozers naming Fort or an oop as Ruck Emergency this week in case of an OMAC late out, it is then up to you to put the likes of Miller and Cottrell/Billings on your IC line to eliminate the risk of an IC line donut and run D/M/F/R emergencies only. You may need to field a slightly weaker team or oop emergencies to do this in Round 3 due to the bye and other factors, however the rule is in place for non bye weeks and particularly for finals which are obviously when our rules are the most important. I would also observe that 5 emergencies doesn't eliminate donuts altogether as 2 late outs on the same line will lead to a donut.
yes, not sure why this site has never had the ability to have an emergency on each line. Can we please raise it this is possible when ever the chance to review is up next. people will generally choose to run without an emerg on the shortest line being rucks.
