Calm your farm nutsy. No one needs to apologise to me at all; not even sarcastically. I wasn’t “attacking” people, I was pointing out the ridiculousness of claims that higher list turnover or any other random rule alteration will make the FU better or fairer. Simple activity and engagement will achieve that. when 1/3 of people don’t post their team and, judging by last year, only 1/2 of the match reports will be done, having smaller squads or mandatory delists or anything else won’t do shitttttttttttt But back to your defensive retort, if I was pointing fingers at specific people, surely you’d know by now that I would write something like “Bryzza you fuck, why didn’t you post a team”. But I didn’t, and I wouldn’t, because I have no issue or problem with you and/or your lack of a post. was just a callout of hypocrisy. Or lunacy. Or maybe stupidity. Some sort of ey.
Apologies to all for not doing my round 1 report and also not fielding a full team last weekend. I managed to come down with Covid and had Covid brain last week, forgetting stuff and just tired all the time, and don't really know what really happened from Wed last week to Sun. Back to about 70% so will get on top of the match report now.
OK it's late on a Tuesday night......and once again no Match report from my latest game.......I didn't get one in 2023 from my opponent and this round is no exception.... I've had enough.......I'm out of here at the end of this season...so @JPK you need to start canvassing for a replacement..... I believe I pull my weight when it comes to imput to this site but over the past few seasons, I have noticed a considerable drop off in input...and banter Sometimes, and rightly so, real life takes precedence and so it should, BUT there is still a responsibility to 17 other Coaches to do the best you can or explain to them why you can't...........or if real life doesn't afford you the time..........then hand your team to someone who has the time and inclination to do the right thing by 17 other Coaches I've been a part of ORFFU for a long time and I'm an ole fart now, who gets no satisfaction whatsoever from making this decision....but it is what it is...
Hey @choppers this is crazy. If you decide to go at the end of the year, so be it, it's been great having you around and you will be missed. This is not the first time the lack of reports are pissing people off and the general lack of engagement across the ORFFU. I don't think I have ever missed a weekly report that I was responsible for, but they are never done until the site is rolled over with the matchday scores. I do not track the game by game scores as my weekends are normally full up with family shite, but if doing so helps the community stay engaged, I can. So, lets call a spade a spade, clearly Choppers is talking about Mick. Mick if you cannot do weekly reports then let everyone know and if you don't have time to commit to ORFFU, then maybe step away as well. I am not saying you need to, it only takes 10mins once a week to do a report. Or if it's impossible to achieve, then maybe ask someone else to do a quick write up for you? I am sure this is not isolated, I cannot be stuffed going back through the thread to see who else is not pulling their weight, but I don't reckon Mick's on his own.
I didnt do my match report for my round 6 match against the Smugglers. That team hasn't changed since round 1, no team selection posts or match reviews. I just didn't see the point.
