OK peeps......just letting you know there's a chance, don't know how big or how small, that I could lose power(internet) in the next day or so....strong winds and rain hit here last night and the rain hasn't stopped since.....so I might go missing

Northeastern provinces bordering Laos are feeling the impact of Tropical Storm Wipha as it moves onto Vietnam and inches closer to Thailand.

The Meteorological Department said on Tuesday morning that Bung Kan and Nakhon Phanom provinces were reporting heavy rainfall since Monday night. The forecaster said more unfriendly weather, rain and gusting winds, was expected through to at least Thursday.

The wind is nowhere near as strong now, but it's still raining and only lost power once earlier today for not very long.....they call it a tropical Storm or Cyclone as we know it...made landfall in Vietnam a few hrs ago so hopefully it's only consistent rain from now on...and the rain isn't a problem....it's loss of power concerns me the most...

Thanks but it's all good now......Cyclone changed course and is now over Xiang Khoang province in Laos, a couple hundred klms from here and heading NW.....rain has stopped and wind has dropped.......so as log as we don't lose power, all should be OK....:thumbsu:
